In case you didn’t know, the Switch underlclocks when undocked. Besides running at 1080/900, the games also run better docked. Longer load times when undocked. Switch lite will the CPU will only run at the lower speed.

Both modes are underclocked. The chip they use from nvidia runs natively around 2000mhz. Docked, the chip runs about half of that, and then half of that again when portable.

and the chip they will begin using in september is more efficient and will use 1.2mhz when docked and 600+mhz undocked which means the 200% lite will run handheld versions of current switch games a lot better with faster load times and better fps

this update will be applied to OG switch models in production for 2020 so you WILL have to get a new console wether you like it or not, might as well also get the lite so you can say goodbye to all the meme features anyone older than 10 doesn't need
