Say what you want, but TF2 was a masterpiece. They beta-tested the gameplay of TF2 for 9 years, experimenting with different mechanics and even a "commander class". Everything about this game was tested to hell and back, and that's why some of the things in this game (rocket-jumping, landing a meaty with a scattergun, direct hitting with pipe bombs) are so satisfying.

A friend of mine has his own private server, he just mods the shit out of it and tinkers with the settings to make it less grindy. Makes ARK far more enjoyable not having to deal with plebs and days on end grinding.
