Some of the skins were locked behind buying either the season pass or the deluxe edition, can't remember which. There are Klassic Kostumes from the tower but they're more just "modern take on the old design", they have more details even though they're the same shape.

The classic Scorpion is a reward from the AI battles, though

I really wish we could have some discussion about this game, I don’t give a fuck that characters don’t have their tits hanging out (and actually Jade/Kitana/Skarlet’s MK2-3 skins are already leaked as coming out) I just wanna talk about the gameplay it’s fun as fuck, I haven’t played a fighting game in years because they all feel awful but there’s something so fluid about this game
