I wish more games would be like call of duty and transistor. 5 hours of non stop fun and excitement with a well paced story, versus an artificially stretched out game to 100 hours where I am bored out of my mind for half of it.

Same but I think the optimal length is more like 15 to 20 hours.

I wish I could sell all 150 PS3 games and 50ish xbox 360 games but I'd probably get maybe like 100 bucks for them all so why bother

desu i prefer longer games but everything except rpgs should be in 10-20h range

Non-RPGs are rarely 20 hours unless you factor in getting stuck or lost.

>Cheap enough where I don't pick up games at launch if they are super short.
>Busy enough where long ass 50-80 hour long games are not as feasible as they used to be.

10-20 hours is the sweet spot for me. I wish I didn't work so much though...
