But it would be really good. You'd model the game after Sim Island, Urbz, Sim's Medieval. So it wouldn't just be playing as the Simpsons, you'd be doing story missions while building your new house/earning money.

It's literally the same guy. They didn't bring Hank Scorpio back because they thought a main antagonist role would have ruined his character
It wasn't by choice they didn't bring back Hank Scorpio. They originally wrote the movie with him being the villain, but the voice actor thought that would ruin his character.
The writers then just make a stand-in for Scorpio but changed virtually nothing about the character, which is why he looks and sounds almost virtually identical. And the plot it written in a way that implies that the random EPA guy's actions make sense because he's just a generic supervillain.
Of course I am glad they didn't use Scorpio because that would have tarnished his character to appear in this movie.
why didn't just make a better plot for the film, wouldn't that have been much better, just write another script, why stick with such a frankenstein of a "plot"
