black goo is used in a mountain of stuff both western and japanese
I mean, it's not a terribly original concept. Spider-Man did it in like, the 90s with symbiotes and shit.
>THREE different games
THREE?! 3 WHOLE GOD DAMN VIDEO GAMES?? THREE AS IN (3) [2+1] ?!
WTF THREE GAMES HAVE BLACK GOOOO?????????
I just assume black goo has some kind of historical or cultural roots.
Excessive blood in games for some reason makes the rating boards lose their shit. But color it anything else and/or remove it altogther, it works
I considered making my fursona have black goo as their blood and saliva and stuff. But, I think it's just too overused at this point.
Magical and malleable black goo is in tons of western shit too m8. Though it was probably more common back in the days of text adventure games and genuine novels or P&P games.
Don't even pretend this thing isn't terrifying.
Black goo is gross and scary so
The earliest media I've seen with the black goo is the X-Files.
bro just get away from the water
just walk on land lmao
someone has "the crouching in tall grass in pine forest mountain of wester unoriginality" collage?
That looks like it controls pretty clunky.
Kojima does it again. The man makes ONLY masterpieces.
Also The Raft segment from Creepshow 2 youtu.be
based on a stephen king story from 1982
>Name extremely general and common object
>WOOOOW EVERY GAME IS THE SAME
hold up is that my boy scorpion?
based kojima everyone is here
It's a metaphor for how niggers ruin society. It makes sense that it'd be a common theme.
Damn, I thought there was a jerkoff joke somewhere in this pic til I read the post.
As far as general shit like this goes, there's not really anything original left to do. There's no point in complaining whenever you see a humanoid with no eyes and just a freaky mouth, or skeletal monsters, or bat wings, tentacle faces, whatever. The execution's the important part.
It is a whale dragging itself across the ground after all, but Sam doesn't seem to be able to move very fast over that terrain either.
