With how Ultimate has panned out, I think Nintendo would do well to capitalize on it in the long term. A second fighter pass isn't necessarily a given, but I struggle to think of what they can really do at this point. A new entry wouldn't really make sense at this point since it would likely be a step back from Ultimate. I'm all for Ultimate being "the" Smash game and Nintendo simply re-releases it and updates the roster SF2 Turbo edition style.
