who is the one on the top far right?
BAKA MITAI
I just beat kiwami 2. Plot got really silly but I liked it.

Truly there is no end to the suffering.
Oh yeah, and

Yea Forums, give me strength to 100% Y0, I've done all substories and am about to start on the minigames
if you havent already done mahjong just cut your losses
The majority are pretty easy but you're going to have to learn how to play the Japanese games, get good at Space Harrier and Outrun (These are the two people always have trouble with), and mahjong is obviously a big one. You can just google shogi's first challenge and repeat that for its requirement. For catfight make sure you bet on Jennifer, Francisca, or police girl and counter-pick whatever your opponent's strongest skill is. You need to beat the tournament fully 10 times and the game cheats so keep that in mind.
Was turning haruka into a whore a good plot choice?
whats happening FORUM
good luck with Outrun, I clear pretty much all of the checkpoints except maybe the first one with only milliseconds to spare
>that pic on the top right corner
*throws black baby against a wall*
SOMEONE PLEASE FUCKING HELP ME WITH JINGU IN KIWAMI 1. HOW THE FUCK DO THEY EXPECT YOU TO DO THIS?!
you can tiger drop guns
taiga droppu
She slept with ONE guy
Wail on his buddies first and then him. The sooner you get them down the better because all he tends to do is shoot at you every once in a while and only becomes more active if you focus on him or take down his friends. You want Brawler or DoD for the fight, Rush gets knocked down too much and deals too little, Beast is unusable in Kiwami outside of extra damage for street weapons. Also take healing items, you're going to get ganged up on and get hit for lots of damage constantly.
If you feel like cheesing you can also use Tiger Drop on everything or bring a bunch of weapons with you and deal with them that way but I'm assuming you don't just want to cheese the fight.
He's not even the most annoying boss in the series, Tanimura's in 4 takes that cake.
But i cheesed that with the sacred tree armor in 4
Not everyone has the set on their first playthrough, I know I didn't.
>run away
fucking kek
HEY YOU
Will they ever revise their engine so that female characters can actually look attractive?
Getting pregnant from one guy is worse than not getting knocked up from a hundred men.
And she didn't use birth control.
But Sana is cute. Yuki aswell.
Yuki
This one is hideous.
This one is barely passable.
>Yuki is barely passable
She had unprotected sex with a total stranger.
I-I LOVE YUKI SAN!
Good luck with that stupid Mahjong straight flush and Catfights
>Yuki is barely passable
She was just following in her mother's footsteps
>Yuki is barely passible.
On what planet?
gay boy
>opponent NEVER uses her "strongest" move during the entire match, not even once
>but that doesn't matter, because any attack they use gets upgraded from white straight to rainbow anyway
>and they can read your attacks perfectly because they're literally input reading
>but even if they weren't you'd only have 1/3 chance to win, because there are no draws, a "draw" means the enemy wins, because mashing does absolutely nothing
God, I'm so sick of it. I don't know what's with japs and gambling. I don't understand gachashit, I don't understand how can anyone find pachinko exciting, I don't feel joy when after hours of mindlessly putting my money into a slot machine I win once in a blue moon. All I feel is rage.
Do not talk to me or my hostess ever again.
ok
>Pervert side stories
Fukken kino, RGGS continues to outdo themselves.
This and Mahdong killed my desire to plat the game. Knowing that even if I completed one, the other would remain.
>All I feel is rage.
You and the rest of us. I still don't understand what in the world they're thinking with the slot machine requirements in any game they're in. Haruka in 1 required something like 2000 tokens in profit for one of her requests and it was absolutely impossible without the 777 item she herself gives you. Then comes Yakuza 2 and there's a substory for the same nonsense but now the cheat items are useless or barely affect anything, and Black Panther 2 wants 2000 in profit.
Do you know how bullshit slots are? I used PPSSPP on Black Panther 2's just to try the requirement out for the title and I went over 1,000 spins without a jackpot. That's 3,000 chips by the way. Save states are useless because the slots are literally preset based on when you stick the money in and then when you pick the first slot. The first slot alone locks in if you win or lose the entire spin and even if you go frame by frame it's impossible to ever get yourself a 777 or a Bar.
I don't know what masochists coded that but there are people who did it legitimately and I have no idea how. Even when I cheated and locked the "Total input tokens" to 50 so everything would give me profit it wouldn't give me the title despite being +111 higher than what it wanted.
I was afraid of mahjong too when I started, but it wasn't too bad, almost enjoyable actually. Got done with it pretty fast. Far from being the worst item on the completion list.
It's gonna take me a fucking eternity to get the painting for Tiger Drop. I only have up to the cat one.
Once you unlock the cage match (The one with destructible walls) you can then just break a section of wall, knock a guy down with a finisher, then push them off the side while they're still on the ground by walking into their body. It goes by pretty quickly at that point.
FUCKING FAG
Sounds like you're into cock homie
WHO IS THE ACTRESS ON THE FAR RIGHT?
stfu baka
>has always hated Kiryu getting into fights even when it was for her sake (which it usually was) and has hated fighting in general
>one guy fights for her sake, she instantly drops her pants and gets knocked up by him
It was weird to me at least.
Though her being dumb started in 5 and not 6 to be fair. In 1 she was a street-smart kid (basically the total opposite of how she is in 6) and in 3 she was mature-for-her-age mother figure at the orphanage. She was hardly in 2 and 4. 5 made her a retard though and 6 just followed through on that.
That'a Kazuma Kiryu
>replaying zero
>finally man up and try the disco dancing sidestories
>beat the first 2 without much issue
>the last one completely destroys me
i fucking hate the disco dancing.
Focus on maintaining the combo, the step count doesn't matter as much, as long as you do at least a bit more steps than the bare minimum. But if your combo chain breaks, you might be fucked. Mash that fever button as soon as it become available.
>Kazuma Kiryu
This isn't funny, I really must know, and the wiki isn't helping.
Don't do the special at all unless you have under a 10 combo. You get more points from regular steps and correct hits than you do from the special if your combo is roughly above 10.
>be me
>100% 0 a few months ago
>see this thread
You lads are giving me PTSD, worst dcision I ever made was deciding to actually complete that fucking game.
Everyone tells me Jingu is a nightmare but he's not the boss that gave me trouble in Kiwami
>Mash that fever button as soon as it become available.
No, and the same applies to Ishin, you can test this yourself. If your combo is high enough you will be missing 5+ notes that count for way more points than the 1000ish you get from a correct fever due to the step + note + combo bonus. It's only worth it if your combo is dead and even then that's debatable since it means you're still missing notes.
i just hate how inconsistent it is.
>replaying zero
>finally try the disco dancing sidestories
>i fucking hate the disco dancing
not my nigga
>get too into the substories
>upgrading Kiryu as I go along
>bosses start all becoming pushhovers
Every game I kill the challenge for myself
All the notes are done to a beat, there is nothing inconsistent about those. You only need to do like roughly 4 or 5 steps per note usually and then it's just keeping up with the beat. Don't pay attention to the lights, pay attention to the song and the "song" they're trying to do with the notes.
>i fucking hate the disco dancing.
GET OUT
GET OUT
yeah, a guy she barely knew and is not married to. Unironically whore.
Yeah I was actively doing the Majima Everywhere hunting before finishing the game up until the point where I went "I'm done, this is too much". So I was hilariously overpowered for the endgame story.
That being said, Legend Mode in Lost Paradise feels like a giant middle finger to the player if it's not done in NG+
I know her name mate, but I shan't be sharing.
Extra Hard and Canon are both meant as a NG+ mode, not as an initial difficulty which is why they got unlocked later. They even want you to go into a NG+ considering the whole yellow orb deal.
I suppose being hilariously overpowered is the canon way of playing the game
>Extra Hard and Canon
Whats this all about Moosey? I've only played 0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2
Canon Mode is a fucking rush though. It goes from being unstoppable to LEARN TO DODGE NIGGER. It really makes me appreciate some of the subtleties in the combat.
Canon Mode is the bonus dlc difficulty in Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (which was made by the Yakuza team and is a basically just a Yakuza game with a HnK skin which is why I brought it up). It makes all the bosses be as strong as they are in the manga, which means some of them will just reduce you to chunky salsa with a punch.
Forgot vid
youtube.com
I forgot how fucking good this game's music is.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise has Extra Hard unlock from beating Hard mode and Canon difficulty was added in a patch 6 or 8 weeks after release. Extra Hard is just your standard fourth difficulty, enemies hit harder, more damage, more often, etc and the bosses are harder, but because the way is made they expect you to go into this mode during Premium New Game because you can only get 11 or 12 out of the 14 yellow orbs in a single playthrough.
Canon difficulty, like I said, was added way later. This mode basically reworks all the bosses to be as difficulty as they were in the manga so Raoh is 99 if I remember right, Toki is way up there, Rei is somewhere in the middle along with Jagi, and then the rest I don't know but I'd assume Shin would be like level 10 or something. Likewise Kenshiro deals chunks of damage as well to make up for this. You essentially get turned into paste faster than Extra Hard difficulty does and that's quite quickly even with max upgrades. Raoh kills you in like five hits on Extra Hard from what I remember right at level 99 but that takes 10 fights to unlock whereas in the Canon difficulty that's how he fights when you first meet him while you're underpowered.
>be as strong as they are in the manga
Sounds like a good laugh. Frantically dodging away from madmen like Raoh and Souzer. That said I've not seen much of the FotNS game. Is my main man Juza the Cloud in it?
So I was playing 0 and went to the hobo park for the first time, I saw that there was a cee-lo mini game so I played that, before I even got to roll, the guy before me got aces out on his second roll, what a pile of bullshit.
The point is not to get a useless hi-score, but not to lose to the opponent. Fever prevents you from losing the combo streak. And also, if you save the fever for later, then you might miss out on it entirely, since if the remaining song duration is shorter than the fever animation, then you won't be able to do fever anymore. So mashing it asap means you can potentially get an extra fever sequence to fit into the song length.
There's no inconsistency or RNG to the disco, except maybe how often the enemy AI makes mistakes, if at all. But form your side it only depends on your inputs.
Unlike a fuckton of other minigames in the game.
>Is my main man Juza the Cloud in it?
Only as a Destiny Talisman. The only one of the generals that appears as a character is Rihaku and only for like two or three lines total, not even spoken just text.
Cee-lo and Oicho-kabu cheat. Don't play them without savescumming in any game. Same deal with Blackjack. Koi-koi is something you can manipulate, it doesn't cheat but the AI clearly can tell what you have in your hand at times and refuses to play certain cards they definitely have until you do.
I think he's in one cutscene. I know Rihaku is in the game. I really like the game but the 1 or 2 genuine flaws it has are pretty noticable.
>but I'd assume Shin would be like level 10 or something.
Shin is level 50, he was supposed to be one of the strongest of the Six Stars, canonically. It just doesn't seem like it since Ken beat him so early.
youtube.com
>The point is not to get a useless hi-score, but not to lose to the opponent.
I know, but the way you get a score that can beat guys like Ogita or the one King is by avoiding fever because it means you can get more points rather than missing some. If you're not confident in a certain section then yeah, use it, but you should do your best to avoid it because you're just bypassing a huge amount of points that could be the difference between you winning or losing. Hard mode also helps because it causes them to drop their combos constantly, they get like 20 in or sometimes even 10 in then fail. The less you rely on fever the better you end up in the end points-wise.
>I think he's in one cutscene.
Actually, I think you're right on that. It's when the Rei boss fight happens, isn't it? I seem to recall Rihaku walking in there for something.
Nah, cee-lo is just RNG, unlike the catfights, which are 100% rigged against you. And you don't even have any illusions about influencing the outcome of cee-lo. Just roll the dice until you win. It's very simple and almost relaxing. I'm just running youtube in the background while I'm grinding for the gambling wins.
Just be sure to back out of every game, regardless if you win or lose. Playing more than one round when you lose, means you're fighting an uphill battle, because the results screen counts the difference between your initial capital and what you end up with when you quite, and not the difference in every round. So you should quite the mini-game to lock in your winning money, and if you lose, you should quit just to reset the counter.
This and the fucking comedy skit quest in 5.
I know you can cheese it, but the fucking timing is just impossible for people who don't actually speak Japanese.
so the yakuza community is quite small evident from the yakuza related gaming channels in youtube so the only prominent guy I can see is devillion7
im pretty sure hes a Yea Forumsirgin
so
devillion nigga u there?
>Only as a Destiny Talisman
>one cutscene
Ouch.
>Actually, I think you're right on that. It's when the Rei boss fight happens, isn't it? I seem to recall Rihaku walking in there for something.
Yeah I just checked the cutscene. Rihaku, Huey, and Shuren are in it, but not Juza.
kiryu
You'll get guys who constantly roll Musashis, Shigoros, 6's, or triples, it's not just RNG, it's a constant thing you will see happen way too often to just be luck. You'll also rarely see your opponents bowl out but strangely it always seems to happen to you. It's the same thing with mahjong where your opponents double riichi or riichi within the first three turns multiple turns in a row, it may be a game backed by RNG but it's clearly in your opponent's favor. Regarding Oicho-kabu, webm related happens to me all the time, actually winning on either side is almost impossible because the dealer seems to always get 8s or 9s and you always get like 3s.
Keep in mind that Lost Paradise is a deviation from the original story. Basically after beating Shin, he hears rumors that Yuria may be at a place called Eden which is a city that somehow has working water and electricity and thus is able to thrive in the wasteland. So Kenshiro heads there and Eden becomes his Kamurocho (it has no wandering enemies at first, but that changes after a certain event in the story). And Eden seems to draw all the major players in part 1 of the manga to it so Kenshiro still fights all the same guys but under different circumstances.
Also, it gave me one of my favorite original characters for HnK, Targa
youtube.com
Also the most important part, Rihaku is in the game for a good chunk because he's Eden's doctor. He's just undercover.
I liked his first fight.
I liked how the reveal that he's a cyborg and thus has no pressure points lets him fight on Ken's level.
The thing that made me happiest in Lost Paradise is that Rei gets to be the one to kill Jagi
I dunno about other games, I only played 0. But I've finished cee-lo completion without rolling out of bowl once, and it happened to the opponents quite often. Seemed like pure RNG to me.
Mahjong and Koi-koi are reliant on RNG when dealing cards, but the AI is 100% counting cards and knows what hands everyone has, so they play 100% safely and will never play into your hand, unless they're already in riichi and discarding automatically.
> You'll also rarely see your opponents bowl out but strangely it always seems to happen to you
Not him but I had the opposite experience, it never happened to me but the opponents bowl out once every twenty or thirty rolls.
Is Kiryu /ourguy/???????????????????????????
It's happened to me more times than I can count in at least 5, Ishin, and 0, but I have them getting special rolls more than me rolling out of the bowl, way more. Koi-koi can somewhat count cards but it's mostly just holding onto cards like hills and roses because it can counterplay you if you place one because it automatically assumes you have the special card no matter what. Mahjong can't count tiles, it just counts the discard pile because otherwise it would never discard into your Riichi, but it does cheat with the hand distribution simply due to the sheer amount of riichis and double riichis and the higher up you go in the rankings the more often you see it happen.
Really? Like not even once?
Is becoming a master brawler the Japanese version of obtaining wizardry?
Fellas...
Where's the honey trapping bitch
I can't figure out what place sells onion rings and I'm about to have an aneurysm
Wette Kitchen, it's on the far-left of the map, she's upstairs.
Can't be, Japan was the place where the wizard meme came from.
Oh for fucks sake, I even stopped by wette and ate there
Thanks
You're one of the good ones Moose lad
Walk around with Haruka in Tokyo's red light district at 4 in the morning.
And got pregnant. Abortion is legal in Japan.
Yeah I feel Yakuza got progressively worse after 3.
>Abortion is legal in Japan.
Kinda.
The engine can't change how people look IRL.
Take your shit opinions elsewhere, fag.
Yagami > Kiryu
imagine being this gay
Majima > others
The bomb being a fake in 2 sums up perfectly why the writing in these games is terrible. Nothing ever actually matters or has consequence. Things happen just to have a melodramatic scene which ten minutes later doesn't even matter anymore. Kaz can be stabbed and left to die and then be back on his feet and fine 2 minutes later. These games are full of this shit. It's not even "twists" because that would mean things would have to be foreshadowed or at least still have consequence. But literally everything that you think is happening can be undone at any moment. RUBBER BULLETS is the most extreme example but the games are full of this garbage. It only annoys me because when people point out how shit the gameplay is they defend the games by saying "you idiot, you play for the story" but that makes no sense when they're written so badly.
Majima is nothing more than a meme.
hopefully the writer for judgment replaces yokoyama
Akiyama>all
The right answer, well done.
nah he's a bland side-character at best
>Akiyama
what game does he appear in? he seems like a bro.
Playable in 4 and 5, appears in 6.
got a bit of time to wait then.
I just hope sega keep releasing them on steam.
t.not approved for a loan
also in Dead Souls
I wouldn't hold out hope for a PC port of the PS3 games tbd. Though I hear they're making remasters of 3-5 for the ps4.
Your best bet is probably to wait for an emulator if you really don't want to play on console.
Agreed.
Abyone else not use crane style at all? Enemies constantly block my shit and it breaks the flow of combat really badly.
I've also yet to find a combo that's cooler than the Chun Li kicks.
I use it when I feel too OP against a single opponent.
Judgment is an improvement when it comes to writing. Combat being fixed still feels a long way off.
I wouldn't say it a LONG way off. Movement feels much better now, I think they'll nail it with Shin.
What is the max girlfriend level in Judgment?
It's useful in EX Burst, and if you don't want to use that you can start up a combo away from enemies and then redirect back to them. It's definitely not as versatile or good as Tiger normally though.
>Combat being fixed still feels a long way off.
All they need to do is just remove the guards that bounce you during attacks and they'll have fixed the problem they themselves introduced. They clearly know it's an issue considering all the extracts and the shattering introduced in Judgment. It better go soon though, it's really a killer for the combat but Yagami's slow movesets also don't help matters. Kiryu is like a speed demon compared to him.
>like shortcut system
>accidentally use medkit on barely any mortal damage
FFFFFFFFFFFF
Anyone else like straight-laced Majima better than CUHRAYZEE Majima?
Not really. I consider him a completely different character.
Ok Yea Forums, I'm about to try and 100% Yakuza 0, what am I in for?
Hours and hours of boredom and frustration for a reward that means nothing to anyone. A jpeg of a trophy that shows everyone not how much skill you have, but how much time you have to waste on shit you don't even enjoy just to earn a "yes, I have autism" award.
nothing compared to 5
Majhong. Dancing. Gambling. Catfights. Batting.
Based and truthpilled
Honestly this
If you're playing Yakuza for the story and not the ambiance and to feel badass, you're doing it wrong
It's not even the cutscenes that bother me (even though there are a lot and they're quite slow) it's the hours of conversations you have to sit through while character models stand around staring at each other blankly. There is literally hours of this, it's what you spend most your time doing. And by the time you're fighting the last boss, less than 0.00001% of them actually mattered. Sometimes I feel like Yakuza games are more like timesinks for people with absolutely nothing to do instead of games. They could all be great if they stripped back the tedium but it seems what most people want is 100 hours of "content" even if only 10 of them are enjoyable.
Everyone who ever strives for trophies in games needs to look at this image and ask themselves if it impresses anyone.
I understand going for a trophy if it sets a fun challenge to overcome, but this "do the same thing 100 times" shit is for nobody but autists.
I'm currently trying to do the batting, what causes the hits that don't go where you're aiming? Is it just timing or do I have to aim somewhere else?
I won't deny I don't have much going on in life so it's nice to have something that will distract me as long as a yakuza game. western games usually don't have more than 8 hours in them and I'm not a fan of rpgs. yakuza is ideal for avoiding life for a while. I only wish they'd confirm the rereleases of every game. I will replay all of them happily.
I would advise you to reconsider. Just beat all the side missions, do some karaoke and disco.
Nothing is worth 100% mahjong and cat battles.
You will read dozens of posts on Yea Forums warning you to not do it because it's boring torture with no payoff, but you will still do it because you have autism. That's what you're in for.
> Is becoming a master brawler the Japanese version of obtaining wizardry?
Buying Etrian Odyssey is the Japanese version of obtaining Wizardry
I have had it with these motherfuckin Keihin in this motherfuckin city
this
I think those things are coded specifically for people without girlfirends, like you 2.
I want destroy Maria's big assssssss
I like how he talked shit to Saejima in 5 but you get to prove him completely wrong because Saejima in 5 is one of the most OP characters you can play as in the series
I don't think it got worse, it's just that it burns you out so fucking bad. You can play the exact same game with the exact same setting and just a different story only so many times.
>be really big and tofu yakuza gangstar
>adopt a little girl
>never get to fuck her
Biggest letdown in this series to me.
Also still waiting for the PS3 games to be ported to PC so I can actually care about this series again.
You can, you just have to wait until you get the itch to play another one. The games actually come out at a yearly pace in English now, sometimes with even more than 1 game in a year, which is why the sameness is even more apparent.
Fuck off, if it's not broke don't fix it. If Shin changes the formula it'll be because of faggots like you.
Listen to this man
>Kiryu gets sent to jail
>daughter decides its the best time to get fucked by some guy her dad doesnt know, and knocked up, which also ruins her idol career and main money machine
I'm not gonna call her a slut or anything but if it was my daughter I would be fucking livid.
At the very fucking least she should have waited till he was out of prison and introduced her "boyfriend" properly to the man who raised her since childhood.
He won't
But he'll wish he had
They don't have to change the game, they just need to get rid of that fucking Kamurocho.
fucking incels
dilate
Do you introduce anyone you plan to have sex with to your parents to get their permission first, user?
Assuming you have sex, of course.
Wasnt he in love with that woman from the bar and she died or something?
I mean the dude is loyal to his feelings, so cant blame a man for that.
What world do you live in where men introduces women to their parents?
You expect it from girls. If the parents of a girl don't at the very least ask to be introduced to their boyfriend, then those parents are retarded or they dont give a single shit about their daughter.
Alright mohammad, calm down
Civilization, Jamal.
where is the lie tho
I want to grope Madonkadonk
>He didn't look up which restaurant sells onion rings
Lmao shit detective
How do I raise my alcohol tolerance above 9? I already have borderline alcoholic and I'm tired of looking like a pussy bitch lightweight faggot in front of Madoka
0 was half off, Kiwami was five bucks off, Kiwami 2 was not on sale. You didn't miss too much.
we don't do that here
why it's a decent run n gun
Tell us the truth, user. Is right?
sorry but nah
You're making the right choice. 100%ing these games is a massive waste of time and no fun at all. Just play the parts you enjoy and move on.
how do I play mahjong
I already won a mil through sheer luck even though I didn't know what was I doing but I think I'm hooked. I only ever collected all simples though
You don't play mahjong, mahjong plays you
Holy shit I fucking hate baseball
it does feel like there's less of input in the game you have due to size of hands than in hold em for example but I imagine there is some strategy to be followed
4 sequences(2->3->4 or 3->3->3) and a pair to win. You can start stealing the hands once you know what you're doing
Don't steal tiles until you know how to make a hand that can get you points once you do. Mahjong is mainly about learning how to adapt and work in as many bonus points as you can into each hand. Enable red dora tiles to get yourself more points if you have it in your hand at the end of a game, aim for simple hands like not having any 1 or 9 tiles in your hand, having the same sequence of the same type of tile (Like 5-5-6-6-7-7), having the same sequence in all types of tiles (Like 2-3-4 on all three types), and there are many more you can work with.
Google a list of all the yakus, ignore the high value ones as they're way too complicated and way too luck dependent to bother with, especially early on. Find some decent hands you think you can work into a hand and then just hope for the best. Don't call riichi if you're about 20 tiles away from drawing out, and pay attention to what your opponents are discarding so you don't discard into a Ron, especially if they're in riichi. Winds and dragons (Basically, any special tile) should usually be thrown away first unless you have two of one of them at the start, but even then if you don't have a wind that matches your wind or the table's wind it's not really worth holding onto them.
Once you get past that learning hump it'll get much easier to understand and you'll have a lot more hands to work with stored in your head. It's not a hard game, it's just a bit overwhelming.
The way japanese pornstars act like retarded children is fucking weird. Why do people like that?
Extremely pathetic men get upset if the women in their fap fantasies appear to be any more capable than a needy, subservient, braindead child or animal.
the point about dragons and winds fits with what I felt, all the "approachable" complicated hands need them right?
what do you mean by red dora? I usually only bother with doras if I have something fitting on first draw.
I already played enough aiming for all simple, I want to mix it up. I usually aim for stealing pons because you can get those from anyone not just on left.
KODOMO NA NO NE
Now you can go for some obscure ass hands like All Green or 13 Orphans. Just kidding the next logical step is to pay attention to your opponents discards so you know when to stop going for a hand
Just ron. RON. RON! ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
>Though I hear they're making remasters of 3-5 for the ps4.
They've all been ported now, but only in japan
They're needed for complicated hands and the dragons specifically can be used at any time for a free 1 han if you get a triplet of them. There's nothing stopping you from including them in a hand of course, but you can get so many better hands or at least give yourself a higher chance of winning by discarding them, usually. That's my approach to them, they're okay but there's better stuff you can work with.
>what do you mean by red dora?
At the start of the game you should have the option to change settings, go into them and enable red dora. It makes it so some red 5 tiles from each type get added into the deck on top of the existing ones. If you have one of these in your hand when you ron or tsumo it counts it as a dora for a free han, but it does not count as a yaku on its own so it can't complete a hand for you (Meaning it won't give you the han until calculation, it can be used in a hand to make a triplet or a sequence but not a way to give you points until after winning)
how do I unlock beef zone in judgment
From what I understand it's tied to some friendship with Kim later on in the game. I only have like 10 left and like 15 side cases in chapter 7 and I still don't have it so it must be later on.
>If Shin changes the formula it'll be because of faggots like you.
I guarantee you that it's more due to Japan itself getting tired of the series than anything else. Japan fucking loves playing it safe and general repetitiveness in game design too so when even they're getting bored of it you know there's something wrong.
That user's a shitposter who says this every time someone says something remotely negative even if on a total tangent
he's not asshurt about the formula changing, he just wants Kiryu around forever
when are we getting the remasters
oh ok then
straight-laced Majima is basically just Kiryu if he doesn't leave the yakuza, which people will pretend is a cool thing except like Kiryu he's the least convincing mobster ever so it doesn't hold up
they pretty much recycled some of Kiryu's old plotlines for his character in Zero
Blind girl in 0 was cute
Fucking dora, how does it work? Why is that 5 han when you have 3 of the dora tile?
Tripfag
Red dora rule is on. See those red five of dots and bamboo? They each always count as a dora if you play with that rule on. More dora = more han, easier to get some of the completion requirements.
3 south, 2 red dora.
So that's what it means. Cool.
