A little of both really. I tend to like long duels that doesn't involve stalling or at least longer than modern yugioh but I also like a good quick duel for when I just want a quick game to play. Sort of like playing a round of solitaire or something. I think my problem with modern Yugioh though could be fixed if they just increase the life points a bit, 8,000 just seems way too small.

i don't like boards that stop you from playing, like pendulums. the current meta is really good because we don't have stupid shit like firewall dragon that builds unstoppable boards. salamangreats are consistent, but don't build insane boards and those are being played a lot, which is very cool. links however were very poorly thought out as a whole and really anti-fun when you want to play an xyz deck. but otherwise i really much enjoy the more chaotic current meta.

spyrals were the first of its kind for the most part. they were quickly cut down. they obviously don't want that shit to happen, as they tried to stop it by banning around firewall dragon. firewall dragon still let it happen, so they had to finally ban that dumbass, and recently trashed summon sorceress because she's also a thot that built unstoppable boards.

i think it's cool that we have an extra deck that we can easily access at any time, but it's very busted because of it. they keep adding too easy of cards that are too good which leads to those unbreakable wall scenarios, but they also add a lot of cards that really help an archetype so it's hard for me to hate or like links. i do prefer MR4 to MR3, though. not sure why. links are just cool.

Playing some anime shit like e heroes or rainbow dragon turbo is probably as high iq as you can get

it's fun as hell is all it is. it never has and never will see play in the meta because it's a ritual card. all other versions of it do see play tho.

Jinzo's Summoning doesn't start a chain, so you can't chain skill drain's activation to Jinzo's summon.

You can negate the summon entirely with counter traps like solemn judgement, but once its summoned it stops traps from being used, so no.
