Can you at least see the deals before I waste time joining them? I already wasted a trial membership on something cheap that I can't get anywhere else.

Everyone tends to be out for themselves. A few years back, Amazon had an error within the early minutes of the event, where percentages off an order stacked. Literally every deal site didn't report it until the system caught on and started removing the across the board discount. By then, the people on those deal sites already ordered over a thousand dollars worth of stuff for around $500.

This is the first time I'm actually subscribed to Prime since I got the student discount + one year of NSO subscription. Do these actually have good deals on games or is it just a meme?

You might find something you've considered in the past on sale. But it wont be the cheapest you can find it, and you probably won't find anything you really wanted. The marketing blitz behind Prime Day is unprecedented and a total marketing scam.

I'd recommend having the page open in two tabs. One for reference and one for refreshing. However, Amazon is pretty sneaky. They randomly lower prices on some games throughout the day, without ever advertising it.

It's even worse than that. Public deals are always half an hour later than Prime Member deals. Most deals sell out in seconds (all three copies up for sale).

I refuse to buy anything from Amazon ever since I got scammed by chinks and got some piece of crap I never ordered.

NEVER order from "secondary sellers". Most of them are fly by night scammers.

I'm 3rd party. Amazon doesn't own me and they can't retract business outside contracted times. They also won't do that because the company I work for has too many unmatched benefits.

That said we only cover a large percentage of freight in a specific area of the USA so it's not like I know ALL of their deals ahead of time.

They aren't. Prices for things steadily go down over time, but they keep the price at msrp and then cross that out and show the actual price that would have been the price anyway and say it is 40% off.
