I got all 5 actual endings. Ending E would’ve been cooler if Yea Forums hadn’t spoiler the shit out of it. It was an okay game — a decent story that thought it was deeper than it was, merely passable combat, and way too much backtracking and filler bullshit. It’s a solid 7.5/10 that horny weebs consider an 11/10 because they want to fuck a robot.

I WILL admit, however, that its OST was fucking phenomenal and absolutely deserved to win Best Soundtrack at the VGAs. It did not deserve to win anything else, and it rightfully didn’t.

I know that I wasn't 14 when I played it and so N:A wasn't my first trip into nihilism, despair, and the pains of difference.

I forget if just Pro versions have it but the depth of field cannot be disabled and they also look bad. Blocky shadows too and no graphical fixes for the low poly bloom/AO like on PC.

The PC port isn't perfect itself but it's the best way to play the game unless you have a toaster.

Not him but I have a 970 and 100% the game with zero crashes with 60+ fps most of the time. The only thing I did was use the cracked version of that one fags performance patch even though I owned the game legitimately and had no issues.

Meant to say PS4 versions. Xbox X or whatever runs it better than the Pro if I'm not mistaken but still worse than PC obviously. The game has some neato mods and tools too, as well as Reshade which makes the game decent looking instead of a gray blob.

I highly doubt that, the fucking 8K at NEVER BEFORE SEEN FRAMERATES is such a dumb meme that they only know they can get away with because the average console demographic can't tell the difference anyway. Like I'm sure the Scarlett is CAPABLE of outputting 8K at 240fps but that doesn't mean any games will actually run anywhere close.

Devs will target 24-30FPS on console because it's always been the standard and lifelong console players can't tell or rather are so adjusted to it they don't care about the difference 60FPS makes.

So this is partially why consoles are "twice as powerful as the same hardware on PC", the other effect coming from customized programming because the console release of games don't need to be optimized for 10,000 combinations of PC hardware.

With that said, the PS5 at least, is using some unknown modified 4000 shader GPU that, in a PC, is definitely capable of pushing 4K60 at current graphics levels. Us PC users won't have a comparable GPU under $700 for a couple years at least.

Who gives a shit there are hardly any good games anymore and everything is multiplatform, and you still can't choose graphical options or mod your games and console devs will probably never stop making 30fps games. PC has had access to 4k in modern games for like 6 years now, anything higher is a bunch of needless bullshit.

Unless Sony is planning on selling the PS5 at even more of a loss than the PS4, neither will they. Almost every console generation aside from the SNES / Genesis / PS1 / N64 never actually had more powerful hardware, they just had custom hardware that was easily marketed into seeming more powerful because nothing comparable is on the market.

Sony and Msoft get the chips at nearly cost-of-production and partly because they pay AMD for most of the design cost.
PC users pay a markup at each stage - the chip, the board, the seller.
So a console APU might cost Sony $180, but the same chip if it were only a GPU, might cost the PC user $800, because there's no guanratee PC users will buy it, and PC users haven't shelled out $250 million beforehand to develop the chip.

So as I said - It will be a couple years before PC users have comparable GPUs in the $500 range.

It's also wise to remember that a lot of console games are like medium settings compared to PC versions. Running at 30fps. Alien Isolation killed my sides for instance. The game was like 900p or something sad and ran at 20fps on consoles. Not even close to maxed out either.

I had to replace my 7850 2GB with a 1050Ti to play games at 1080p at high textures and usable FPS after the 8th gen consoles came out. My card was basically (almost) a PS4 in 2014, yet couldn't handle any game made for the 8th gen.

I honestly hope that Taros next game isn't a direct sequel to Automata, or at the very least is the same as going from Nier to Automata. As much as I liked the main cast, I can't see their story continuing in any tangible way. I feel that Taro shines the most when he's making fresh characters to torture in a fresh environment.
Although if reoccurring characters are handled like Accord, then that would be nice too.
