If you disliked gens 6 and 7 for too much story, too little freedom and the slow gameplay, then yeah, it's easy to like Let's Go since it's pretty much the opposite in all those aspects.

Please don't confuse "too much paraphrased and parroted dialogue" with "story", both games arguably had the least amount of story to date. Nothing fucking happens, people just won't stop talking and congratulating you on every two steps you take.

game is good as long as you dont teach the broken move to your starter or if you dont use it

I enjoyed Let's Go just fine. The only real issue I had with it was Pokemon Tower because it being gen 1 only made it pretty tedious in terms of battles since the Gastly line are the only ghost types.
