The best souls, fucking kino, damn I could go for another playthrough of demons souls. I might just have to try this 4k mod just bought a 4k TV too...

I wouldn't say its more basic than other games, just a little less polished in some aspects. It's still a great game though regardless of it being janky and having a whole world cut from the game.
DS1 > Bloodborne=Demon's Souls > Sekiro > DSII > DS3

Plays nearly identical to Dark Souls 1 in terms of combat. Main difference is theres no poise or jump attacks. Instead of poise some weapons have armor during their attacks (as in you cannot be interrupted). Mainly great hammers have this. The healing system is alot more archaic than dark souls though. Its more similar to Bloodbornes vial system but way more abuseable.

there's nothing janky or less polished about demons souls. literally the only difference is the animations got worse as time progressed and you can't manually jump, instead you can climb certain things.

The lizards aren't floating their shadows were misaligned. desu that might be a bug in PS3 as well. I'll check the others right now for you. I got my saves installed so I can find myself a manlet shield.

I really don't get you 4k faggots. It doesn't look that much different from 1080p or in this game 720p. It is just a bit more crisp and has definition to the armor. Like seriously how up your own ass do you have to be to spend hundreds of extra bucks for pixel tier differences that aren't even noticeable unless your eyeballs are against the screen? Sure it'll look much different compared to shitty Nintendo 480i Switch garbage but that is just cherry picking Nintendo on their lackluster tech and game quality, it is hardly an argument just the exception.

There was a few audio glitches I can remember. Like the dragon in 1-2 fucked the sound more and more each time he puked fire. Just restarting always fixed it though.

I don't know which glitchy sounds were due to the emulator and which were due to the game dropping frames since I never played the original though. I've heard destroying environmental objects always fucked the audio up.

I never ran across either of those.

What I meant is that it seems even on the ps3 the audio was fucked when you rolled into a bunch of boxes because of the framerate doing a hard drop. So it's not a emulator exclusive problem.

It was only significant when the playerbase was very active, but with the guide you can easily manipulate your tendency with zero issues

I tried the emulator more than one year ago, it was a pain in the ass to setup and didn't run very well with a 1070 and a i7 4820k. Did it improve ?
