This. There's nothing worse than having a great idea for a playstyle and then realizing all the stuff you locked yourself out of by picking that playstyle. Being able to organically develop your skills as you actually do things in game (you know, like real life) will always be much better than picking skills at the beginning of the game when you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. People are gonna give me shit for saying this but I don't care, Morrowind and Oblivion's leveling systems were absolute garbage, Skyrim did it much better.
