If Snoy/Wahoo chinks and Xniggers can't design devices that use software and don't overheat, what's the point of getting their products?

Never had this problem b

I've run a few burner programs on my laptop at a temperature higher and I never got even thermal throttling.

>grade 10
>playing on my brand new xbox 360, been going for 12 hours straight
>console super hot, but i dont want to stop
>remember friend saying wrapping a cool towel around it helps
>grab a towel, realize if its damp that may help
>piss on it
>wrap piss soaked towel around 360 and squeeze out 2 more hours before it overheats

That was your first mistake

Which console does that? I've never had it happen to me

I was talking from the perspective of anons parents

Reminder Ricardo Milos has threatened legal action against people who use his video without permission

OH NO NO NO

My PS4 sounds like a fucking rocketlauncher
I tried to return it but the pieces of trash at the shop pulled out some shady shit related to the garanty and now I have a coaster of 400 yuros
I'm literally never buying a console again

>moving files around
>accidentally drag over the E: drive
>SHHHHHWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNN
>have to wait ten seconds while the HDD fluffs itself up so I can move my mouse again

>install cheap PSU I bought off of ebay
>POPPOPPOPPOP *computer shuts off*
>PSU's circuts are fried
I'm lucky the rest of the PC still worked but my god that scared the shit out of me. Got me refund too

Learn how to take it apart if no ones gonna officially fix it anyway

Did this with a projector lamp and it fucked the projector. You got lucky user

>playing Skies of Arcadia
>trying to get to a place quickly
>Dreamcast starts to whirl up
>just pause the game
>No more random battles.

Based Dreamcast letting me skip tedium when I just want to complete side quests.

I've read too many horror stories about the fragility of the PS3 so now that I've hacked it I set it to let the fans run as fast as they want and I put the whole thing on top of a laptop cooler for good measure

Worth playing now? I just got a dreamcast recently my first go with one.

>cheaping out on the part that can destroy everything else
it's a shame it didn't fry everything else

It’s extremely easy to pirate games for it. Go wild.

My Xbox 360 was a fucking nightmare.

Attached: 1560401055087.jpg (587x615, 112K)

How/why does this happen

Attached: 1424223004235.jpg (640x640, 44K)

That's what I've been doing. Downloading and burning everything worth playing. I guess it's a "why not"

It’s because Nintendo cheaped out with the battery when the 3ds first came out so over time they start getting bigger, if you grab your old 3ds you might see a bump in the bottom
It’s easy to replace though, so if you have it don’t worry about it.

>Eject PS2 game
>Disc tray makes worrying grinding sound

Why are you playing games outside?

>HDMI port on ps3 dies
>have to use 3rd party component cable I had for the ps2
>whole screen blinks black every once in a while
I swear to god if this other port also dies aaaa

It was like a 400w PSU and I bought it for my old Windows XP system about 3 or 4 years ago, so of course it was cheap

>Don't need a heater during the winter. My computer will do it for me.

Attached: 1545431407134.png (646x595, 323K)

This doesn't happen on consoles.

>windows xp
>in 2015
ultimate poorfag, retard, or both?

>Have OG 360
>Brother plays it on a TV in the basement my stepdad doesn't want used
>Pissed stepdad throws Xbox and breaks it
>After realizing what he did my mom makes him buy us a new one
>It's the revision that supposedly doesn't get burned out by RROD

It's still going strong.

>playing TF2
>computer bluescreens out of nowhere

It got so cold in my house one winter that I couldn't turn my computer on until I warmed it up by blasting it with the space heater for half an hour. Fuck winter.

God of War on my PS4

The former. I didn't get my new PC build finished until like 2017

>tfw couldn't play dreamcast in the morning growing up because it was so fucking loud i was afraid it'd wake the house up

I had a similar story

>had ps2 slim when they were new
>laser eventually breaks, gets replaced
>new laser eventually on its last legs too
>friend borrows the console for a week
>leaves it on all day and it dies
>friend buys me one of the then new super light slims to make up for it
And that one's sitting right next to me a decade later, getting regular use. I think the laser's dead by now but now there's OPL.

>Turn on original PS4

for me it was something to do with kernels, i also remember the number 3 being involved in what failed

This happened to me when i was playing my game and start feeling something hot and heard something pop

Imagine that happening to you. The pot slowly getting so hot that your feet and hands get burns whenever you accidentally touch it. The water getting so hot it becomes uncomfortable, then painful and eventually insufferable. I imagine the thing that kills you in a scenario like that is a heart attack from the pain.

wait till ya see this

Attached: moo.jpg (900x617, 114K)

>playing switch
>suddenly hear an high pitch sound
>search the room for it
>it's the switch fan spinning like crazy
>that shit is hot to the touch
Wait this can happen on a switch?

>Play dancing game
>Console overheats

Attached: Ailzee.webm (640x480, 1.97M)

Yeah I actually thought of that too while I was typing. That one's probably not fun either

>OG PS3s that became compact jet engines after a year of use
The sound of those fucking things was beyond reasonable. It was audible over my desk fan blowing in my face.

Attached: 1551806985978.png (400x750, 187K)

what the fuck goes inside your brain that your first instinct to dampen a towel, so that it can cool something off, would to be piss on it?

Attached: 5123134.png (437x460, 259K)

I think the worst is either that or scaphism, a method of torture/execution which involved sealing a person in a "boat" carved to fit their body (or a log) leaving their arms, legs and head exposed, then they get covered in honey and milk, and set out to rot in a swamp. The idea is that the person gets eaten to death by insects and rodents, very slowly.

>AC2 disc with no marks
>Fucked up near the end of the game
>Take to GameStop for trade in
>They accept it seeing no scratches

Still wish I could have finished that game.
