Are any of the original devs even working at Sega? I don't think Sega themselves would a better job at this point desu. But yes it doesn't look good based on what they're showing off, if they balance juggles to be less braindead and more utility based and the enemies will actually put up a fight instead of standing around like they have in the gameplay footage then it might be ok.

French mostly make good games. They lack a real budget for their ambitions but even their bad games (like bound by flames or the cursed crusade) always have good ideas, a good scenarios and are (unironically) made with SOUL.
