Personality quiz is semi-random according to the devs, you don't get to fight at all yourself, Josuke just has one fight where you watch him beat up the bullies from the beginning of part 4, combat removes the first-person range band style and goes full side-view old school final fantasy, and there are no attack animations. The sprites just awkwardly jump over to each other and play a sound effect. The actual aesthetic of the personality quiz is pretty cool since Rohan comments on your choices, but most everything else leaves something to be desired. Oh, and the map is too fucking huge with too little in it to figure out where the hell you're going without waiting for the NPCs to give you directions. Buildings and streets are just big for no reason.

My carpenters beat the fuck out of freu first try.

Very good. It blows anything away, and although you learn some powerful moves that might not hit, if they hit they either end the fight or do tons of damage and status effects. This also goes with the extra moves they can learn which gives it even more versatility and makes it even better.

The appearance of the Japanese outfit depends on the appearance of your character. Shogun for fats, ninja for shorts, ponytail for average, samurai for distinctive.

In a high stat environment the best stand is Red Garland because his Red Garland Requirem move debuffs which can slice off 1/4 of an enemies stats the entire fight, and can inflict -every- status ailement in the game including other OC Stand exclusive ones like Nameless Endless minus time stop
Problem with the stand though is it's pretty trash until you get it up to level 50 and even when you do you're still gonna have issues with it due to its stats but once you do get it up to that point,you're essentially invincible until the dev just flat out creates a counter for Requirem.

But the best overall stand throughout the whole game is Caravan. Many of its moves do not have set ranges so it's not cucked by damage,it can trigger a lot of events and it gives you access to an area other stands cannot.

Stuff that shows the contrast and privilege of males and maybe also scenes indicating the white privilege benefiting polnareff and joseph over the rest of the gang, stuff like that.

A lot. Just stick with your boys on the first route, it can be pretty frustrating.

First time, probably not. It's an entirely original route but you'll miss out on a good chunk of the tarot fights and the overall difficulty is higher than going the regular route. Go for the manga route the first time and once you're prepared and beefed up by NG+ shit, take the alternate route.

Mostly you miss out on some opportunities to gain FP with the crew since you'll be hanging out with other characters instead. It's not that hard... though I did it my first playthrough with Wildhearts and the initial random encounters can certainly fuck you up so you're better off running from any of them that make you think "oh shit".

If the user is looking for specific information, Snitch Knishes will scour all of the trash in the immediate area as a sort of ctrl+f for whatever information the user is searching for.

The sprites come from the GB SaGa games, aka Final Fantasy Legend. There are new sprites here and there, obviously they had to modernize some so they weren't all JRPG fantasy characters, but yeah. A lot of music is from RPG Maker resource pack stuff, as well as other games and so forth. I dunno who did the original artwork and sprites, I think Clayman did them herself though apparently her husband helped co-develop the game.

ult kars is for new game + only, but really any of the bonus bosses are too strong for playthrough one without inordinate amounts of grinding imo

The fact that they entered from the back makes it so there's even less shit for them to pull Josuke with on the way out. It's like sticking a really strong magnet to the outside of a cardboard box to attract some marbles inside. You're not gonna make the box go flying, the marbles are just gonna break out and hit the magnet because they don't have the mass needed to reliably carry the box with them on their way. It doesn't matter how strong he can make the pull, the pieces of road in him don't have the mass needed to be able to move a basically grown ass man AND HIS FRIEND like they're being pulled into a planet's orbit. It's not like he had a bunch of fucking hooks planted into his skin ready to lift him up. He has no "strength" to use in conjunction with the pull; he's limping and he doesn't have the innate ability of defying gravity.

There's no golden balance of pull strength that would ever cause the pieces to help him move. You either pull them too weak and nothing happens, you pull them at moderate strength and nothing happens, or you pull them with retard strength and they fucking fly out of you and nothing else happens.

It would have unironically made more sense if he fucking hit the deck.
