Drills pure fun and satisfying, Ricochet gives you more buttons. 60-70 is probably the least eventful but everything from 70-80 is great.

You've talked to him and completed the role quest line WAY before you get to the Amaurot dungeon. The final role quest is also level 80, so of course you're 80 when you complete the lamp quest.

You get to the Tempest, and thus Geroldt BEFORE you get to Amaurot.

Means Artifact gear. It's basically job-specific gear that's themes off the job itself.

Keep your ricochet and gauss at 0 charges, then do 5 heat blasts with 1 ricochet and 1 heat blast (at least) weaved between them. Also, the proper order is to double weave wildfire, and then overheat, then use the 5 heat blasts followed by a quick active damage skill, don't try to use drill, the damage comes off too late usually.
