Yea Forums doesnt hate CoD, they just argue that theyre all very similar to eachother, which is true. I play a lot of CoD and its very rare you get a game thats actually different from the others. Mild improvements or changes as theyre released, but nothing ground breaking

They are years late with this. People were begging them to go back to MW style games I think for the past 5 years now. Now everyone that might have been interested is playing shit like CSGO, PUBG and Fortnite instead and COD isn't as strong as it once was.

Multiplayer never so much past MW1. MW2 was under scrutiny for having no dedicated servers.

The single player campaigns were always really good. I even liked BO3's campaign, though i know im in the minority

Ok it has one or two problems, speed 3 is too fast for the server to let you actually fight back against, but thats a technical issue, not a game design one. Siege is the closest we have to an actual hostage retreival mission. Well, it would be if theyd stop releasing stupid futuristic tech characters

Siege hasn't been tactical since the beta when everyone was LARPing and acting like operators.
It was fun during that time, and then most people started playing the meta and the game devolved in the trash it's currently, like every other live service game with an emphasis on esport and constant balancing to patch the shit released to sell season passes.

and the create a class isn't as rigid as CoD4 and lets you do shit like putting 7 attachments on a weapon like alter games.
