I want to play it but don't have anyone to play with and whenever I launch it I get reminded of my decade old friend I used to play with who has already moved on with her life.

Vanilla sucks, Modded Minecraft is great.
Why anyone would play this on anything other than PC always confused me. Even if you play vanilla you need a mouse to play this game.

You probably closed them on bedless rooms or 2x2, 1x2 spaces separated from each other.

My thought on this is certain games are better with a controller and others a mouse/keyboard. In my opinion games in a first person perspective are always better with a mouse/keyboard. I found building with any precision difficult with a controller.

A lot, might paying a visit to an ocean and villages.

I started playing before beds were added and stopped just after the Wither update.
Is there a mod to remove those new biomes because I still want to be able to use the command block features but hate those random-ass new block types.

I enclosed one and made sure that his workstation was near it. It does that because it "loses sight" of the workstation. Placing it back in will fix it, or just wait for 1.14.4 since its patched in the snapshot.

I played it alot when I was younger and the game was free. Then they announced that the game would cost money, but that you could make an account for free for a limited time so that the people who were already fans wouldn't have to pay. I was too lazy to do that.
I have regretted it ever since.

I started playing the game in 2011 when I was 14 with classmates on a comfy small beta server, those were better times.
