More informations on the Turbograph/PC engine mini, with the list of all the games (for now but i doubt it will change.) japanese only game are also on the US and EU version, just still in japanese; there's no price yet but it will soon be announced.

they are getting better, focusing slowly more on game, they are already a lot better than 2016. in comparaison : they made 6 pachinkos in 2016 only, using big licences related to vidya.. they made 3 pachinkos in 2018-2019, using unknown licences not related to vidya. the vidya team had got more members, and a new studio.
cheaper than the PS mini, with 2 times more games.

Salamander is an alright shooter, TokiMemo is the 3rd best Japanese only title released according to the 2006 top 100 games in Japan Famitsu poll, which is the only poll of value anyone should ever look at.
It's great, just not as good as Sakura Wars and Machi.

And with games that aren't readily available. Pretty much every ps classic game was available on psn, and the rest could be found and played on a ps2 or ps3. At least the turbografx16 has a practical reason for a rerelease.
