Because they do it in ways where even though it's the same general environment it's still visually and functionally different each time as an attempt to convey the game's vibe.
Unlike Sonic. Because it's the fucking green hill zone fuck it who cares.
Nintendo should have sticked to sprites: evidence #451
Wispy Woods usually gets some twist every iteration to better further players what the specific game's mechanics are. Also, he's based.
Kirby is a low-tier franchise.
New people come here everyday
It doesn't, it's still fucking annoying. Most of the Kirbys game have the the exact same gameplay and layout
Because the enemy is iconic and they remix him every game and every use of his zone changes the layout and the enemies present.
While sonic barely does anything to change green hill zone if they ever change it at all.
In short someone put effort in Kirby while nobody gave a fuck to improve Sonic.
i dont mind green hill being in all the sonic games
its the first level, you blow through it in like 5 minutes
Because we have signicantly lower standards for the Kirby series, I think even Kirby superfans know this. It's simple, forgiving, but satisfying platformer series.
So did Windy Hill in Sonic Lost World. Everyone still hated it.
>Because green hill zone is iconic and they remix it every game and every use of the zone changes the layout and the enemies present. While Kirby barely does anything to change the tree if they ever change it at all.
Rearranged words don't make you correct.
Kirby disagrees.
Because Lost World was shit, the background scenery was just a shitty bootleg Namek too.
>People criticize Sonic for constantly re-using Green Hill
>"B-B-BUT WHAT ABOUT KIRBY!?!"
Even if Kirby was guilty of the same thing, it doesn't change the fact that Sonic Team are lazy and the levels are uninspired.
People don't complain about it in Kirby because the beginner grass zone usually isn't Green Greens, just a similarly styled area. Nobody complained about Emerald Hill, Angel Island, or Leaf Storm in Sonic, because the games starting with a lush natural environment before moving into stranger or more mechanical settings is standard fare for Sonic.
Sonic used to do that too before bringing back Green Hill Zone for everything.
Look how cool it looks with the tree silhouettes in the background in the NES game, makes a huge different for ambiance. Everything after is flanderized visuals.
I dunno when has Kirby ever had a first world that wasn't a forest/plain of some kind? Yes Rainbow Route cpounts it just doesn;t have a boss.
I like to think every time Kirby goes on an adventure he takes a detour to fight Whispy just to show him who's boss
Because no matter how bland and boring a Kirby game is people will praise it for some strange reason.
COMFY
I haven't bought a Kirby game since Return to Dreamland and from what I've gathered I haven't missed anything.
Yes I have heard of Robobot.
Well tell them to leave!
sonic fans are retards. EZ
who the fuck complains about green hill zone?
I agree, Kirby games are fucking lazy and boring.
Kirby doesn't port Green Greens every time, for one thing. A lot of the Whispy fights are distinct anyways, despite being the same character.
For the record, the Whispy Woods fight in Kirby 64 involved attacking his roots instead of attacking his face. It had a different battle appearance while remaining true to the format.
>Whispy
>Has pretty much always been a constant in Kirby
>Green Hill
>died off for a long while, and then had a huge "'MEMBER THIS?" spike of reusage
Windy Hill is probably the best world in the game though. Maybe the desert world. The on-rails levels were great too.
Then the game tanked hard. Like they didn't know what they wanted to do with it anymore.
>a level equals a boss
but i like new friends ;(
Kirby games don't suck gay autism dick.
We’re not friends. We’re all angry acquaintances.
>Green Greens is always the same exact aesthetic
>Green Hill atleast changes aesthetics, especially in the game people complained about it the most, where it's a desert
Basically that, it's okay when mania reuses the same exact zone but apparently when they actually do something new with the standard formula of the zone now it's rehashing, not when you're using the exact same sprites and music. I swear, Sonic fags are the absolute worst, they act like they're beyond nostalgia but they only tolerate nostalgia pandering dogshit instead of the stuff that tries.
yeah, they suck tranny cock instead
who cares what a low-tier mascot thinks
The people hating Green Hill and loving Whispy Woods are not the same people who enjoy both games.
only because you never asked me to be your friend.
top row: soul
bottom row: soulless
Well the more important point is that all sonic games are fucking terrible. Most kirby games are b*sed
this post really put things into perspective.
>Sonic Lost World
Spotted the problem
The target audience of Kirby is so young that they've never played any other Kirby games before buying one. Kirby fans are probably the dumbest around. Imagine getting invested in a series that is literally designed for five year olds to beat.
That's the only reason they'd buy something like Mania, almost the whole game is rehashed, they act like they don't like nostalgia but when it's "made by fans" they eat that shit up like it's Christian Whitehead's hot sticky semen.
ya left your name on bro
I tried to make a continuation anyways so in the end it doesn't even matter.
N-NO, SHUT UP!!!
Nintendo has made bing bing wahoo mario shit for fucking EIGHT GENERATIONS STRAIGHT.
It's sold great EVERY single time. Explain gay shit like that. People don't want new shit. They want the same shit again and again. Just like Zelda. The same shit EVERY SINGLE GAME.
...
>Green Hill Zone all the time
vs
>Vegetable Valley
>Green Grounds
>The Ruins
>Fruity Forest
You checked a wiki for that, didn't you?
Sonic hasn't reused Green Hill Zone anywhere near as many times as Kirby has reused Whispy Woods. I can name tons of Sonic games that don't have Green Hill Zone (or a knock off) in them whereas I'd struggle to think of even a single Kirby game that didn't have Whispy or a knock off in it.
sonic fans like green hill zone.
kirby fans like tree.
OP likes men.
/thread
What if OP is a femanon?
Then she's still a faggot.
You have a point
>an entire set of levels vs one boss
Let's not pretend that Kirby doesn't rehash the shit out of a whole bunch of their bosses.
it's just the first level
