Nah. It's the same size as fat 3DS, is an actual one-piece handheld that you can play even standing up and is efficient enough for external powerbanks to be an effective range extender solution, laptops have better price/power ratio but they can't rival Win's portability.
Except the GPD 2/Pro whatever was like $700+ when it released and it was no change compared to the old $300-400 model. GC emulation still wasn't possible for the most part and yeah, that's it. Everything that ran on the old Win ran on the new model and the new model didn't do anything better despite the $700 price point.
If you want an emulation box get a phone. If you want Nintendie games get a used 3DS and if you want proper games get a Switch. No point in playing Witcher 3 at 15fps and 320p on the GPD Win "Pro".

It works well for the 3rd person exploration games which the Switch is sold for. I use handheld 90% of the time and I've never had a problem with stick placement. In fact, I imagine having the sticks lined up symmetrically would only make Mario Odyssey and BOTW more difficult.

I very recently bought a Switch, 2 days ago in fact, and there are plenty of good games on it that aren't kiddyshit.
Most of them are Capcom though.
By that I mean REmake 1, 0, RE4-6 are all great games, though I heard something about RE5 potentially having performance issues. I really don't expect that though since MT Framework was a godsend in good framerates for toasters.
