I was excited when it was first announced, but the more gameplay I see the less interested I become. I don't even care that it's a timed Epic exclusive at this point.

Cautiously optimistic, I guess. Looks like cross between New Vegas and Futurama or something. Could be good. A bit worried by the developers insistence that they'll keep it "apolitical". Usually means it'll awkwardly dance around political themes, trying not say anything about them.

The gameplay presentation within the city area eliminated all interest from me. Talking about the cracks in the buildings while showing off weapons which can fire "N-RAYS"; a groundbreaking new damage type in which enemies surrounding the general area of the point of impact will take slow damage over a period of time. One may call it an "Area of Effect" attack, if they would be so inclined. What does the "N" stand for.

I'd rather developers avoid politics entirely, regardless of how "awkwardly" it may be presented.

Making a highly story driven game (and from what we've seen it sure as hell doesn't seem to be gameplay driven) and trying to avoid politics seems a bit like trying to take a shower and avoid getting wet. Especially after how political New Vegas was.

I love the idea of a space NV but everything i see just makes me pay even less attention. At this point i havent even seen most of the recent stuff. Last thing i saw was just the terrible shooting animation in a file name thread but i have no idea whats going on with it otherwise

IDK maybe. Gunplay looks better. Multiple worlds. Can take a flaw for another perk. Main writers/creators should still be good. They claim to have a pretty mature attitude. Pillars and Tyranny are supposed to be good. We'll see.
