Will it be worthy for regular Switch owners just for improved handheld play? If there’s an easy way to transfer save data, maybe with the cloud, i could see the Lite being more comfortable for portable gaming.

>spending 200 dollars on another device for a slight increase in portable comfort
Imagine being so retarded that you spend 200 bucks for slightly better portable ergonomis...that isn't actually even that better anyway.
Hey you brainlet.
Shit like this is coming out that you can buy for much cheaper, if you're so autistically inclined.
>Being poor
Yikes... Oof
>Being poor and turning your switch into a gamegear
Oh sweaty...
I don't think the point of it is to be a better portable version of the switch but to be a cheaper model to get it in more people's (children's) hands.
I plan on getting one for exactly that reason.
This shit gives me HARD Gameboy Advance vibes
But there’s no rails and no detachable joycons, it’s also 30% lighter and has a better portable size, it’s objectively a better handheld experience, especially woth no wobbly joycons on the side and higher PPI.
But I wanted the normal Switch to just get a price drop.
I never really hack anything but i can totally see myself buying a Lite day 1 and eventually hacking it to have the entire Nintendo library including hopefully the 3DS and then getting another one to keep it legit when a cool Zelda or Dragon Quest edition comes out.
>Being poor and buying any Switch model to begin with instead of a real console
user I...
The reason I'm considering getting one is that my regular Switch has something fucked up with its fan, where it just goes full blast for 2 seconds, then stops for 5 seconds, then goes full blast for 2 seconds again, rinse and repeat. It does not bother me at all when its docked but it's pretty annoying handheld. So I figured I'm just gonna go normal Switch for any TV play and Lite for any handheld play.
bump
But we most likely can't hack lite. If I can hack it I will definitely buy it.
I don't think the 3ds will be possible without the second screen but I wonder how the SNES emulators or even something like MUGEN will play on it
I'm glad we're all being nice in this thread and not actual potatoes. Have some cool bionicals as a reward.
>Being poor and buying any consoles instead of an actual gaming PC
must hurt for you retards huh?
>Having so much ADHD that 3000 dollar RGB computer is the only thing that can satisfy your ticks instead of reading a book
Have sex
My switches left rail doesn't detect my joycon in handheld mode at all. Also the back of my console is cracked. I'm not going to lie, I'm tempted to do the same just so I can play in handheld again.
>Cant use a proppee controller instead that shit
No thanks
Gba was the peak of handheld consoles, lite is trash in comparison, dont fool yourself
Will this have rumble?
Lite doesnt have rumble
>peak
I think you missed something user
No HD RUMBLE or no rumble at all?
>not Counting emulators
Yes, peak
>Including emulators
Any Psp model, still with mine next to bed
I know, which is why I hoped that one will have one.
Nevermind though. Just looked it up and apparently it doesn't either.
Not rumble at all, and it lack a lot of important stuff too like no dock, not running all the games, cant undock controllers and so. Give it a look.
Lite its just worst in every sense. And all for a 1-2 cm less. The switch ita not a gba and it will never be
>No dock
No shit its handheld only
>Not running all games
Two games
>cant undock controllers
Why not just get a normal switch at this point?
>Having no creativity and reading other people's stories instead of creating your own
Kill yourself
What a weird thing to say.
>spending money makes you rich
Pretty sure negative numbers makes you poorer.
You have to spend money to make money
You don't make money buying a console, unless you rent it which I seriously doubt it.
>Buying "a" console
You're right, but buy 200 and resell them for double the price until Nindie can restock and now you're going places
>moving goalposts
Don't do that user, that's tasteless.
Sorry what? I cant hear you over my money.
>attention whoring this hard
Last (You), you filthy whore, enjoy it.
No please. I need your (You)s. I'm your little whore please.
THIS
>tfw save files aren't stored on the cart
I actually used to have both N3DS XL and N3DS for home and to go use, I was gonna do the same with the Switch but not unless Nintendo can automatize cloud saves like Apple does with iOS (which they do for free) but I have a feeling they won't even for people they charge an online fee.
>implying this is somehow a bad thing
the turquoise one reminds me of my childhood gameboy, it's time to go home bros
I left my OG switch on the dock since launch and if I try to go handheld the battery drops rapidly, I'm switching to lite because it's very fucking obvious this thing was always a handheld marketed as ALSO HOME CONSOLE, I would rather have the package it was meant to be instead of a shitty frankenstein monster that falls apart
No, because the controls will be still too far apart and feel not tight enough, it's still 20cm wide and the stick STILL being under the abxy buttons is ultrabullshit, so you have to buy a stand and hope it will be compatible with the pro controller, enjoy your castrated experience.
Unless you play pokemon, animal crossing and some slow paced jrpgs.
I mean, it's all fucked up, to get the most out of the Switch experience you have to buy the regular one and a pro controller, plus a micro sd card.
And that will be 500$, ma'am.
Thank goodness I'm good at gambling and I didn't have to pay real money for all that.
It sure is something for Richie Rich, so think about it.
In the end you are going to spend more money and get less. It might be good for little kids that will adapt to anything, not for grown up videogame players such as myself *sips on prosecco doc*
I just wanna know what the urkelnomics are like.
OG GBA was maximum comfy for a handheld, shit just felt right to hold. I wish the Lite was shaped more like it.
