NEW Lord of the Rings MMORPG

>"The game is unrelated to Amazon’s upcoming Lord of the Rings TV show"

>"Amazon Game Studios has announced its latest project: a Lord of the Rings massively multiplayer online game that Amazon is developing in partnership with Leyou. It’s planned as a free-to-play title for both PC and consoles. "

>"According to Athlon’s announcement last fall, the new MMO is set “at a time long before the events of The Lord of the Rings, exploring lands, people and creatures never seen before by fans of the Tolkien universe.”"

HOW HYPED ARE WE? What material will they even use, brehs? Just make up their own?

>cant do a cosplay without whoring herself out
why are women like this

There's still a free to play Lord of the Rings MMO

>Amazon
>MMO
>LOTR
That'll be a Yikes! from me, pal.

>HOW HYPED ARE WE?
About 0% because MMOs are shit, especially "free" p2w shit. Now fuck off, shill.

because their only purpose is to give birth to offspring. Think of it as fishing, women are always fishing for the best mate. Looking and acting slutty is the bait.

>giving money to Amazon jews
fuck that

>NO MY VIRGIN EYES!!!!

this is it
they're finally making the silmarillion game
I can't wait to see how they monetize Tharn son of Thrin son of Thron son of Thrael son of Hresl son of Heasl son of Housl son of Hues, the Last of his Kin.

what happened to the OTHER mmo amazon was making, and dumped nearly $40m into? The one that was like a survival game? What happened to that?

>from the developers of gears of war 4, gears of war 4 (multiplayer), gears tactics dirty bomb and warframe comes a f2p MMO LOTR game
great

old world.
its problematic since its about colonizing unkown lands from monsters

>new lord of the rings game
>amazon
>f2p
>mmo

Yeah but I mean, what the fuck happened to it? They haven't finished that one (or gone past the one alpha unless being in that alpha didn't entitle me entry into future ones) and they're announcing, and probably splitting up their dev team to work on a LOTR game now? Seems like they're just setting themselves up for failure.

Leyou is a global video game holding company focused on free-to-play console and PC gaming. Leyou, which had originally operated as a chicken supplier
>which had originally operated as a chicken supplier

>women are always fishing for the best mate. Looking and acting slutty is the bait.
Can a man desperate enough to date a whore really be considered the "best mate"?

Amazon's The Grand Tour game was surprisingly "good" for a game I had 0 expectations for going in.
I wouldn't call it an actual good game, but it wasn't a train wreck that I thought it would be.

This LotR game probably won't be all that good either. Will probably be just another shitty Chinese MMO that doesn't offer anything over all the other f2p MMOs out there other than the LotR paint job.

But since it's free, I'll go ahead and check it out.

they are getting the devs of warframe to help them with this

>f2p mmo in 2019
what could possibly go wrong
just remake War in the North with better graphics you dum dum developers

I was in the alpha testing for New World, what do you want to know?

That's kinda neat.
I recognize that Warframe is good for what it is. But I never could really get into the game.

I can't see how they could make something set in old Arda work. Most of the stuff in the Silmarillion or Histories of Middle Earth is effectively folklore, genealogies, or old epic stories passed down through oral tradition. Would you be able to just wander around Aman and talk to maiar and see the two trees? Would the fall of Gondolin be a story event with a bunch of cgi and particle effects? Would Ancalagon be a raid boss? It's stuff that the characters in LotR would look at the same way we look at things like Beowulf or the Arthurian canon. How do you make a game that doesn't feel like it immediately misses the point with that kind of source material?

0% because a good LOTRO mmo alreadt existed

>free to play
>pc and consoles
>chink shit

ya, were not hyped at all

>f2p
>console mmo
that's an oof from me, dead on arrival, don't get me wrong i love f2p, but 90% of f2p games are pay to win and the fact that it's getting ported to consoles just means the ui will be dumbed down along with many other features
