It irks me how much people blowoff Anna as a concept.
The issue with FE representation in Smash is that it's all fucking swordy lords and 4 of them sharing flavors of the same one moveset.
Anna being a swift, dodgy kind of character based on her named Bow supplimented with say Lances (Apotheosis Anna, grandest superboss in the series), and some staves from Trickster and you have someone wholly unique.
Imagine actually having warp staff for recovery. A special that lays a Sleep spell trap.
She's never not going to be a big figure for the series and she's the only non-protag besides Tiki that ever got promotional love before Fates.

It's really sad because Chibi-Robo on Gamecube is probably my favorite game of all time. And I'm just overall frusterated they couldn't just do more of that, and instead did a bunch of random things no one would care for with the series. The only other game that has replicated the first was the Japan only DS game, and that's Japan only so I'll never get to play it regularly.

Feels bad but better then watching it become trash by getting bad games I suppose.

People will uphold Miyamoto's wish for the Mario cast to be standardized since he wants the series to stay clear from Modern Sonic's direction even after he ages to death. This carries over even in Smash.

Midna is a one and done character that will never be seen again in Zelda as a series, and that's why she got made into a Assist Trophy. Just like Skull Kid for MM and Ghirahim for SS.

He has one of the most linear gameplans in the ENTIRE series, especially so for a high tier, and you're going to be pushin the B button nearly every other 5 seconds
He's not fun at all, they took a unique zoner/grappler mix and made him a generic combo fiend, in line with their other changes where they gave every character a gimmick that somehow made them less unique
Also Dee's moveset in SSF2 in bland as fuck.
I'm fine with the playstyle, but he can do so much more than "Spear poke, spear throw, spear twirl, OOH a parasol, back to spears!"

Sonic would fucking work if they made him have more stuff based on StF and Battle.

Maybe because I only played PM with friends, but I disagree with the hate to Lucas. The changes let him stand out so much better from Ness by compounding on his more bursty-based specials and more aggressive aerials and vertial smashes.

His jab's basic enough it was probably used for Fighters.
His down-throw is a Fighters move.
Spindash was a super in Fighters.
His down-air is kind of Sonic Rocket.

He already stood out FINE from Ness, his kit was almost entirely different and their gameplans were nowhere near similar.
They just tacked on a gimmick and changed his playstyle to be incredibly generic instead of actually giving him buffs that made his current, extremely unique, kit work better
Thank god I have Ultimate Lucas who actually completes and buffs what I loved about Brawl Lucas rather making his zoning tools useless and going full grappler like 4, or PM Lucas who uses his uniqueness almost in its entirety

All that Pikmin is, has already been encompassed into Olimar, bar Rock Pikmin. The only ground to expand is enemies, which I feel the two stages capture decently. If anyting, I'd love a Snitchbug to be a stage hazard and function akin to Nabbit or the Galaga item.

The attempt and heart is there.
There are two problems here.
1) Louie's never done this shit and the extent is the flavor text around him as a "treasure" at the end of Pikmin 2. It's effectively headcanon.
2) The basis of all this is from like 2004. It's as dated as people who make Krystal movesets based around her staff. Nothing in 3 or Hey! Pikmin supports an ounce of this.

Master Shake, although he's a never ever because not an actual vidya character, would be really friggin dope. i try to pick what i think fits best in terms of the renders, the chorus kids i feel fit better as 2d characters, they simply don't translate well in 3d, and some characters have good character designs but no renders that match the smash style, like XB2 KOS-MOS and Asuka, if you do have 3d renders that look presentable of them, feel free to send them to me

Adeleine. If Dr. Mario is worth getting a character, then Shinichi Shimomura's work on the Kirby series is definitely worth paying tribute to. Adeleine is a fantastic character, and few (outside of classic Kirby fans) seem to notice her charms realize her potential. It would be wonderful to see her as a fighter in Smash Bros.

Shadow played a large part in SA2, Battle, Heroes, ShtH, '06, both Rivals games and Forces. Forces was the first time anybody but Sonic was playable in a mainline game since god damn '06. In terms of Modern Sonic, he's more relevant than Tails and Knuckles have ever been. He's also more popular and would please more people.
