I'm sorry, Yea Forums. I didn't mean for this to happen. I only wanted so vidya recommendations.
Is this game good yet?
it's playable but still buggy with giant bypasses in the progression that make playing it "right" pointless
It's the epitome of "Lonely Otherworldly Games"
Just drop your expectations going in.

Sims 3
Where is this place? I wanna visit that place
Abes Oddysee, Heart Of Darkness, Flashback.

I like Antichamber
>Having a private pool
>Having it walled up so you can't look out at the relaxing scenery
Disgusting.
what are some games about fags posting the same shit over and over again?
I fucking love places like this, idk why.
artificially constructed environments with water.
I love rides in theme parks like this too
THAW
You know how many spammed topics this one autistic poster is probably responsible for?
But why. There's no joke, it's not funny, it's not interesting. It's just "I'm gonna make this thread again." for no reason.
Good god no.
Play it for more than two hours and you realize that every planet is exactly the same with only cosmetic differences, and even those are often exceedingly minor. Every planet will have the same red oxygen mushrooms (no variants) the exact same yellow nitrogen plants, the exact same blue hydrogen crystals. Go to a barren moon? Yup, full of the same basic resources. Go to a planet full of weird metal formations and paradoxical nonsense? Yup, still those same mushrooms, herbs and crystals.
No variation in hazards or enemies. Cold planets are the same hazard as hot planets, which are the same as toxic planets. Enemies are just one type, sentinels, with 3 classes of them, none of which are worth the time to fight.
Then you have the actual part where you look for resources, you scan for shit you need, hope to get the right kind of resource (outpost or beacon etc.) and fly toward it only to find out it isn't what you needed and you just wasted a bunch of time, now go do it again, and again, and again. The RNG in this game is fucking insufferable.

Just hide the thread and move on if you don't want to discuss lonely and otherworldly games.
Dark Souls III
It's just a thread to talk about games like this and post cool images, chill out you autist.
Not quite, but there's an update coming soon, supposedly the biggest so far, it will at the very least be a VR otherwordly game.
Stalker and pathologic while not quite lonely the settings can feel alien and distant.
Same with HL2 and Portal.

Why is Yea Forums just reposting threads? This board is fucking boring now.

it's nice to have some threads that aren't ecelebs, politics or twitter screencaps. you're more than welcome to go be a nigger there.

Assassin's Creed Unity If you ignore the story and just run around. I regret uninstalling that game, cause it had my favorite overworld of the series.
Riven is too good for Yea Forums plebs

Jet Force Gemini. There other beings, even a few friendlies, but those few empty areas you're hopping around looking for a fucking magenta key are spooksville.
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy gives you vibes like no other game. Do a playthrough solo, without others
Lemma
Metal Arms: Glitch In The System
The game is broken up into levels but they all flow directly into each other, so the game feels like one long journey. You start out in friendly territory with plenty of allies, but the loneliness sets in once you're forced to venture out alone into the wastelands, enemy bases, enemy cities, an abandoned precursor city deep underground, zombie infested ruins, etc.
After a while, just encountering allies again feels like a relief. Unlike other characters in the genre, Glitch doesn't have a sidekick to keep him company. You're on your own.

What is that place? A prison?

I think I drove down this road at 135mph in Forza Horizon 4
This board has been nothing but reposts for the past 2-3 years. Yea Forums is dying.
Even if its reposted it's a decent point of discussion and a hundred times more video game related than half of the threads currently up.
LSD
Zeno Clash. I can't recommend that game enough for other worldly games. Styled after Hieronymus Bosch.
