The calendar system was in the most recent game, Atelier Lulua, though from what we've seen, Ryza doesn't have it. Lulua likely only had it because it was an Arland game and even then, it only covered day/month, no year because there was no time limit.

They did utilize it a little with the festival in Arland and certain things happening at certain time of the year. In the future, I would hope they would implement seasons along with different kind of things to collect

Anybody know if Totori and Meruru have friendship events as DLC party members? They already had events as NPCs in the base game and Totori in particular was in a ton of them due to invading like 80% of Mimi's events on top of having her own, so I'd be surprised if they added even more.
