I always imagined the armor would break at a certain percentage or something and he'd become much lighter. there's a few entries where armor could sustain more than one hit from a gameplay standpoint. Ultimate gng for the psp being one of them, though the jp rerelease made it more like the arcade originals

That would be pretty cool. Much better than it being an alternate costume.

personally, I see him needing to charge his armor with a down b or something, starting on mid level and losing armor from most smash attacks, he can charge up to gold or get knocked out of them, changing his weight and fall speed for each level
