I don't know if's a good deal. It's 7k CAD (before taxes and insurances) for a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer SE with a 180 000 km/ 11 000 mileage while the same Mazda dealer is selling a 2010 Toyota Yaris at 7.5k CAD$ with 80 0000 KM/50 000 miles

honestly 111k miles isn't bad . Once you get around 200k miles (400k km) is when you start seeing engine problems (if any).
I've never understood the sketchiness people have with high mileage cars that are under 150k miles. Sometimes you can get an engine to go to 300k miles with proper maintenance. Granted it can be a total crapshoot if your buying a car that has 150k miles on it but if it's properly cared for you have EASILY another 100k miles of use out of it before you start seeing some big problems

If you're looking for simple transportation, go for lower mileage since you want the car to last as long as possible for you.
The Yaris is a toyota, it will drive on for another 100k with proper maintenance and will get great gas mileage, but it is a small car, and you'd better not be looking to impress anyone in it. Depending on your size, you may be giving off a clown car vibe stepping out of a Yaris.
The lancer is a more innocuous car. It's bland, no one will think twice about it. It's a properly sized car, small sedan sized. You could fit people in it. I think some of these came with CVT transmissions, which are more of a pain to get serviced, so check for that.
