the fact that they thought just photoshopping some stock image to be Tali is honestly the most baffling decision in the history of video games to me. I'm open to other suggestions but I honestly cannot think of anything that comes close.

ME1 Tali's the most boring one though. She's just an expositionbot. If ME2 and 3 didn't exist she'd just be alien Jacob.

started off interesting and likeable, became a little one-note and irritating later (ie. in 2) when they were clearly using her as waifubait
but overall I thought the quarian stuff was reasonably enjoyable in all 3 games which kept her relevant

Her writing was inconsistent across the three games to the point where she is effectively a different character in each one. Same happened to a lot of characters, especially Liara.

this may be a controversial opinion but I actually mostly liked the part of ME3 that took place on Rannoch. I thought it was a satisfying conclusion to the Quarian/Geth conflict.
