Excitebike could be kept on his bike if they just made the rider and the bike just a little bit small. The rider can have slightly cartoony proportions to make it look right, and it would be fit his NES theming.
In any case he'd be a lot easier to keep on his bike than Mach Rider.

The ice climbers are proof that smash was never about “MUH VIDYA ICONS!!!!!!!!” A character needing to be a vidya icon is a rosterfag and patternfag rule that was made up in a vain attempt to help their most wanted characters seem more likely in the eyes of other rosterfags. Joker should have made this obvious, as well as half the fucking existing roster.

I very much enjoy their uninspired moveset, and would actually prefer an echo that makes it just one climber so I can play without having to worry about the other.
