He is a generic successful hype man with bad opinions.

Personally he seems like a nice dude and all and is probably somewhat genuine given his streams but its painful to watch him play some games he probably doesn't wanna be playing.

He was given a lot of advice on how to get a better idea of how BB played in on of the streams but he never wanted to give it a chance and just groaned about people backseating when it was just people telling him the character he would probably like and that BB's challenge mode did a decent job of helping you learn the character

Pretty much this, although I'd argue Max himself isn't the problem. The problem are the people who take his opinions as gospel. Skill-wise, he is intermediate at fighting games at best and his lore insights are worthless when several wikis out there provide more detailed information. I have no idea why anyone should treat Max as an authority on fighting games.

he puts on the "nice guy" act way too hard so he comes off as annoying as fuck. he isn't very good at fighting games. he cried when he said CHINGER CHANGER NIGGER DAGGER which is the only based thing he has ever done.

I don't like this guy for one reason. He will talk about a show or game or series and act like he doesn't know what it is or who it is, then constantly slip in that he actually knows what he's watching with name-drops, then going back to "oh uhh what's his name."

You can't have it both ways Max. You can either accept that you know about power rangers, or you can just go "I don't know what I'm talking about at all"
