Shit you want to see in BotW 2
Shit you want to see in BotW 2
Zelda bending over
I'd rather list things I don't want to see
Mipha do lewd things
dungeons
Hero's Shade in some way, either the armor or the character
Reminder that it's already in BotW 1. as a gigantic fuckin skeleton.
Weapons that don't break after 3 hits. Even if it means you can only carry 1 weapon at a time.
Already in BotW 1
Riju > Mipha > Zelda > Paya > Urbosa
Fuck off. I love the Windfish but it was already in Breath of the Wild and there is a remake this year. If anything, Zelda Switch needs less KANTO tier callback shittery.
>DAE REMEMBER GORONS XD
>instead of coming up with original ideas for non-human towns
I would really fucking like to see Ganondorf in BOTW's style. Gerudo are back to having big pointy noses.
Gorons have been in almost every game since Ocarina of Time, hardly a callback when they're the norm now.
Weren't these things' skeleton littered all over Hyrule? They're dead.
Subrosians when?
>wind fish
>is a whale
Go fuck yourself if you're about to post old, amputee link
Odds that Twili are seen again?
The semi automatic crossbow (select fire if upgraded) from that Wii lightgun game
As a hidden reference? Possible.
As an actual thing in game? Nil, not gonna happen.
The whale skeletons aren't anything to do with the Wind Fish, what the fuck are you retards smoking?
Those where birds
zelda ass, and actual content that isn't shitty shrines
based
DORIYAH
My one wish is for a spirit tracks reference, some broken piece of track out in the middle of nowhere looking ridiculously old, that'd tide me over for four or five more games at least.
>can only get the fierce deity outfit through amiibo faggotry
fuck nintendo
gladly
nothing because botw is a trash game to make a direct sequel and any new content with its base gameplay would be wasted
Those wierd Sloth Moles from Skyward Sword. Or Subrosians
Odds that Ganondorf gets rehydrated during the game?
probably pretty good, but I hope he doesn't. games need more cool liches, as flashy and great as he'd be with some moisture.
WIND FISH
WIND FISH
WIND FISH
AND THE WIND WAS IN FULL VIEW
THERE'S A WIND
THERE'S A WIND
THERE'S A WIND FISH
AND THE WIND WAS IN FULL VIEW
>infinite bombs
>no dodongos
Also more shit for the house. Like give me a little terrarium I can put hightail lizards in or something, and better stuff in the yard. I felt gipped when I saw how shitty the trees they planted were.
Yeah it's gay as fuck but you can emulate amiibos on your phone
I don't think one or two scenes of Dorf at full power would take away from his prowess as an undead lich, user.
mostly just the concept art shit, i don't know if its set in the entirety of the underground but those beta guardians would be good cave monsters
other than that theres the minish village showing up would be neat, and as much as i doubt it entirety it would be neat to see some timeskip shit with the punished link or even full time-travel and get those modern day designs
biggest never-ever would be if theres multiple playable characters; Link, Zelda and Ganondorf
>infinite bombs
that's already a thing, you have no limit on the slate bombs in botw
i think he was asking for dondongos as enemies since you already have infinite bombs
is correct, I meant that there's no reason to not have them since we have infinite bombs.
an actual good game
Unarmed combat.
Some way to repair weapons
die
Loftwings
More moves for your weapons (directional strikes and combat arts), and hard enemies that require you to use them
He's dead, Jim.
I just want cool setpieces. The best part of BotW was the cycle of
>what's that over there?
>how do I get here?
>now that I'm here, what do I do?
especially when it applied to areas like Eventide Isle.
But there were so many cases where that last point was "now that I'm here there's fucking nothing".
>I just want cool setpieces
What you described isn't a setpiece though, you want the opposite, you want more gameplay, not something to gawk at. I don't want scripted setpiece nonsense like I'm playing Uncharted or something.
More of the yiga, preferably with higher ranking and tier scaling members
I want Zelda to be playable this time around.
fpbp
Actual temples. BotW was a total waste when it came to dungeons. I want to see giant temples set into remote cliff sides and huge structures emerging from the ocean depths. There should also be post-game content where you can explore the unknown regions beyond the standard map and find new temples with far harder secret bosses.
Less of the Yiga, I hate those obnoxious assholes popping up every two minutes just to eat a lynel club.
Same for the stal enemies, I know it was like that in Ocarina but it just gets tiresome if you're not close enough to a cliff or something to punt their heads off of. If it was just a bigger group of them once a night I wouldn't mind.
the stuff in BotW original art concept
shield surfing not taking the shield's durability, just let me have fun
The stal enemies were frequent because they were the game's means of handing you free weapons in the event that you ever hypothetically ran out. There's no way they'd ever become less frequent so long as the game continues to have a durability system.
Would love to see this hunk of alpha man meat return.
You mean these?
The wind fish wasn’t real though. How would they put it in BoTw? Unless one of the dungeons is inside of Link’s mind
big monsters you have to climb to kill, turn it into shadow of the colossus 2
These would be perfect for a direct Majora's Mask sequel.
please this, I want to ranger botw's dogma
>Majora’s mask sequel
>he doesn’t know about Ocarina of Time
OoT came before MM tho
??????????
gorons/zora/geurudo etc. are the standard zelda races
How much do you think they'll change up the map/overworld?
Barely, but I think they'll add more caves and tunnels, and more traditional dungeons.
lots of underground exploring
hookshot
greatly expanded enemy variety, including more climbable enemies
longer and more interesting themed dungeons
Ganondorf menacingly watching your every step from the top of a floating island/tower
fishing minigame
unbreakable master sword that never runs out of energy
monster weapons that do more damage than the master sword and break very very fast cuz link just swings them stupidly hard all the time
3d swimming
playable zelda akin to swapping out to medli or makar in wind waker, with much less moveset who follows link around and can use bows
hookshot
more enemy types, in particular big aggressive dragons, insects, and spiders
yeah in a game where you can cook it's kind of odd there wasn't a fishing minigame
tfw malice starts corrupting the local wildlife and turning them into monsters
You know what was complete bullshit? Master Sword couldn't cut through Malice. Isn't that it's entire job?
definitely happening
>a few changes here and there (mostly in the towns)
>Hyrule Castle area greatly changed
likely happening
>a few new villages
>an assortment of new underground areas to explore
probably too good to be true
>dark world Hyrule
Please no the dragons were scary enough as it is.
>be playing at night near the bridge
>in the distance
>massive fucking yellow sky serpent
>nope
>later, in that little village
>heavenly music
>massive fuck off lightning dragon
>turn switch off for two days
tfw it gives us wolfos
mfw
I just realized if Ganondorf is in this he'll get voice acting.
Who do you want to play him?
The dragons were magical. I'll never forget dicking around in the southeast and happening to look up as the golden one's tail disappeared into that mountain lake.
Although I'm not sure about the path it takes, like it shows up in that big lake by the plateau, that jungle lake with the waterfalls (that's where I first saw it), then all the way over in the Gerudo highlands? I don't get it.
Another 30 year old trying to do an old man voice.
Adult Midna is too powerful. She's so hot that Nintendo had to seal herself away
link getting the daily dose from ganondorf
It shows up whenever you need the shit scared out of you. Completing those shrines in the jungle was hell because of that yellow dragon. I would just look up, and there it was, scaring the shit out of me. The big ass desert Divine Beast was just as fucking bad. Too many big things in that game, I was playing in constant fear.
How did you feel about the giant flying fortress that was the bird divine beast? Or the lizard one stomping around the volcano? I liked how you could always see those regardless of where you were on the map.
That would be interesting
For Monolith Soft to jerk their mech boner. Divine Beasts are already 3/4th of the way there, just make an humanoid one that Link can pilot.
whoever voiced the main dragon in dragon's dogma
Is this rape?
Those weren't bad because they were a constant. I knew the borb was always there from the very beginning, and the salamander I didn't even pay attention to.
>be me, fucking around in the desert
>turn around a corner, use glider to start floating down
>pan camera up
>desert Divine Beast right there
>mini panic attack, immediately turn around and go right back up that mountain
Link was a huge pussy in my game.
>hookshot
Fuck that, give me Dual Clawshots. And not the neutered SS shit, the TP ones.
Link already has his own Divine Beast though.
That shit is the best. To think I can glide down a set of step waterfalls chasing after a Chinese thunder dragon, only to get stun-locked by its electric sweat droplets.
Or running across a mountain range only to see a bright-red long thing flying through a chasm.
I hope I don't spoil myself on BOTW2, just so I can experience those sensations again.
Not a single area in botw comes close to the mysticism of oot's spirit temple.
Great, now make it transform into an exoskeleton with the wheels becoming propellers.
BotW 2's darker at the very least
if he's younger-looking, give me Takehito Koyasu (Dio, Aokiji, Ryo Takahashi) or Tomokazu Sugita (Katakuri, Gintoki)
for the american dub, someone in a past thread mentioned Christopher Judge (nu-Kratos) which would fit well for a bigger, wiser Ganon
David Lodge, who also voices dub Jiraiya from Naruto
More enemies in general would be nice. I feel like botw1 was a good demo, and if they can flesh out botw2 with different enemy types, fuller dungeons or at least shrines more themed to their areas and some other stuff we'll actually have something special
This one had wings
too bad the game is over by the time you get access to it.
>Hyrule castle takes to the sky and spreads calamity around, raising other chunks of land
>Paraglider is turned into a wing suit, way more emphasis on aerial traversal
>Ganondorf awakens the Leviathan bones as Stal enemies that take to the sky
>Have to defeat them in sky battles
>bigger, wiser Ganon
I don't think we really know what this Dorf is like. WW Dorf looked a lot older and we were told directly how TP Dorf connected to the past.
All we know for sure about this one was that he's from at least 10K years ago. I don't think it's specified, but I assume he was a voe in his prime (maybe early 30s).
Vic Mignogna, no bait.
I want Brolydorf.
So is BotW a world where Link never woke up?
>flying giant thingies such as the Wind Fish appearing out of nowhere
We already had 3 of those in BoTW as was, but I admit seeing the dude himself would be another level of rad
>Paraglider is turned into a wing suit
It's already been leaked that flying is the new thing in botw2, and now it makes sense
Speaking of 10,000 years ago, was this one of the biggest BTFOs in vidya history?
Imagine being Ganon and waking up to all this shit.
Riju > Paya > Zelda > Mipha > Urbosa
Give me an actual fucking Ganon fight.
Ganondorf's okay.
FUCK Aonuma's boar fetish.
Give me my big blue orc beast with a giant fucking trident blasting my ass with spells and homing fire keese.
He hasn't been properly fought since the god damn Gamecube in a game 95% of people who bought it never reached the final boss.
Yuganon is still 2D. The fucking prop in Nintendoland doesn't count.
I want a real 3D Wizpig fight.
#istandwithvic
Ganondorf is way better than generic fantasy pigman beast
Yeah, he got completely destroyed there. The fact that he was able to account for that next time was interesting though. It suggests that Calamity Ganon is more intelligent than he looks.
>leaked
where
I'm not taking a side one way or the other there.
But Ganondorf's latest big fight was at the cusp of the wii era. You could even argue Demise is frankly a 4th Ganondorf fight in how it's executed.
Actual Ganon hasn't gotten a 3D boss fight in the series. The last standard game he was the final boss of was on the fucking GBA and made by Capcom.
is this just not the same whale as the one from the newest Dragon Quest lol?
Calamity Ganon was a big monster man, it's the same thing
quads confirm
I can't find it now, but it was posted before e3. Basically,
>Link and Zelda try to track down the body Ganon was sealed in
>Link loses his arm and gets Zelda's magic arm (she keeps the slate and it's just a way to manage magic runes)
>3 major dungeons
>flying is the new thing
>not sure if it'll be at e3, but enjoy banjo
Sure enough, we go banjo, the botw2 trailer shows them finding the body and there's a segment that focuses on link's arm. The slate and paraglider where left overs from the wiiu so it makes sense they are being revamped.
That was fake, user. They changed the time on the screenshot.
>no trident
>no magic
Not Ganon.
Fucking HW did more justice to him than Aonuma in 20 years.
>3 major dungeons
PACK IT UP, FOLKS.
oh, dumb. I still expect them to get rid of the slate though, that was just the wiiu gamepad and the paragilder was due to the wiiu's loading speed limitations so we'll probably get something faster. I personally hope they expand upon swimming too
where is this gardens of the moon shit from?
>no trident
except for, you know, the literal spear he wields during his battle
>no magic
except for, you know, the magical energy lazers and balls of fire he throws at you, the latter of which is actually very reminiscent of the fire keese in his LttP fight, not to mention the magical barrier he creates around himself when he's on low health
>PACK IT UP, FOLKS.
Oh, I get it now. I'm sorry I tried to argue with a retarded person
fine let me be more specific. I don't want to see Ganondorf or Ganon as the main villain again. Looking back at it i would be fine if Ganondorf gets dropped around for lore reasons but I'm simply just tired of him I don't know man. BotW 1 would have been a better game to me if the Calamity wasn't Ganon, it restricted what they could have done with that so hard and made the technology vs faith thing Zelda had going on completely moot
JUST GIVE ME A FUCKING DARKNUT TO FIGHT JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST
It must've been a real massacre. But it's a real mystery as to how Dorf ended up in that state and why the royalty was trying to use his sealed body as a battery.
OH NO IM GONNA HAVE TO FIX YOUR POST
Which one?
>Malice Darknuts explode into monsters when you cut off their armor liek the villagers in RE4
>not editing the last panel to say "Have a quiet life" or "LET THE VOICE OF LOVE TAKE YOU HIGHER"
Redeads, Paya, Jules, traditional dungeons with variety, and varied dungeon bosses.
Actual content instead of an extended Tech Demo of a game.
>Finally meet MASTER KOGA
>LEADER OF THE YIGA CLAN THAT SUPPORTS CALAMITY GANON AND WANTS TO BRING DEATH TO THE HERO LINK
>Just a goofy fat fuck
>Appears for one shitty boss battle
>Never seen again
>No further info on the Yiga clan just more random encounters
>Of the same two enemies
It's a fucking travesty just bring them back and make them an actual threat or something, I honestly just fucking kept forgetting they existed.
How?!
Retard.
half the shit in this game is so half baked, the blood moon makes you think like its some crazy thing at first, but its just the fucking generic enemies respawning.
the whole point is that they're a joke, user
Shit now I'm kinda sad
What do you think those leviathan skeletons were?
Oshus
Wind Fish
Levias
>dark world Hyrule
This would be so fucking based.
>have a foothold on the Sheikah
>have a foothold on the Gerudo
>yet treated like a complete joke
I would've loved if the blood moon actually stuck around
>Made the night last longer
>Buffed existing enemies and booted them up a tier if possible
>Villagers would retreat into their homes because of the giant terrifying blood moon
>Monsters would roam the streets of towns during the blood moon
>Spawn unique enemies during it
>Maybe the guardians go berserk and start roaming more of the world
>Would cause shieka technology to shut down maybe?
Just to brainstorm a few ideas
if by "foothold" you mean "some ancestry", then yeah. nowhere in the game or even the extended lore does it imply they have any saying power in either group.
fix the one thing I found incredibly stupid
>Hylian villages everywhere
>the other races only have one village each
Actual rewards for exploration and going out of your way. Too many times in BotW you go through a huge pain in the ass trek to get somewhere and fight through hordes of enemies only to be rewarded with a Korok seed or a single gem. Bring back heart pieces.
they better do some of this shit in botw 2
I'd love it if the blood moon caused Guardians to transform and change the color of their lines to red. Maybe do something like the combat shrines have with weapon arms instead of exclusively lasers
A separate mode where they remake past TLOZ boss battles with the new engines and tools, perhaps giving you the chance to use weapons and items from previous games to battle them.
I hope they have more ocean stuff, like treasure islands, usable ships, etc.
I can't see them getting rid of the slate especially if Zelda doesn't get kidnapped in the first five minutes. BotW stressed how she's really good with Sheikah tech. Taking that to its logical conclusion, I can see her having her own lab somewhere where she hangs out while you're running around the world. Occasionally she calls you to haul your ass back so she can upgrade your slate with some new functionality she just discovered. Aonuma said that the sequel is emphasizing story, and more story means more linearity. Zelda upgrading your slate at specific times could lend to that. There may also be locked dungeons that you can't enter until she figures out how to disarm the doors.
Yeah, the Zora and Gerudo in particular don't make sense.
>Zora live for hundreds of years
>plenty of kids around so they breed frequently
>one town
>Gerudo males only born once every hundred years so Gerudo women have to mate with other races, almost always Hylians
>Gerudo children exist so Gerudo genes must be pretty dominant
>but there's only enough Gerudo to fill a town and a half (the oasis)
>Goron breeding in general
there's so much I don't get
>they pull a metroid and your slate loses all functionality other then photo
I'd be pretty mad
Just more enemy variety and i'll be good
They said the game takes place in the same Hyrule. I'm guessing that deconfirms a dark world.
Same world means same setting, same lore... Compare Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask. Despite taking place in two different lands, it's the same world - the Hyrule Royal Family has time traveling ocarinas, there's skeletons and redeads and the Hero of Time and everything. Comparatively, Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are set in Hyrule, but they're different settings. Nothing about time travel or the three golden goddesses or Saria or the Kokiri (unless you count the Lost Woods), very little about the Royal family, and all sorts of Twilight stuff.
I wouldn't rule out time travel or a dark world thing. There's no Towers or Divine Beasts in the trailer - even Hyrule Castle is undamaged.
Dont recall where it was confirmed, somewhere in BotW dialog I think, but there hasn't been a Gerudo male born since Ganondorf well over 10k years ago.
What if Ganon is good this time? A reasonable if authoritarian despot of Gerudo, who for a certain section of the game is an antagonist (prevents you from getting inside a dungeon or whatever), but then agrees to lend a modicum of aid when the larger threat also begins to affect him.
Then have him be a main villain in the DLC expansion. Pretty simple.
OVER THE WINDS
THEY DWELL IN LIGHT
FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
That just adds to the point I was making then, how are the Gerudo not more abundant?
What I want? No more shrines, that time is done. The shrines and the towers should be deactivated and back in the earth. Time for a new fast travel system, the old underground ways from Zelda 1.
In fact, its time to bring back the underground as a thing. If dungeons are going to be in this game, then let us find them much like shrines. Have various entrances to the underground throughout Hyrule, some of them bigger then others and clearly marking how close you are to a dungeon. Such as the structure shown in the trailer.
But, have there be side paths and be able to get lost underground. Underground has different enemies then above ground, old enemies, like Tectites, Ninja Birds, Digdogger, Bubbles, Gels and Zols, Vamps. Yes, this would mean adjusting Link's dodge to work with these, but really it should have worked on a bunch of attacks, like Keese charge. No reason to limit it to humanoids with weapons.
What else? More settlements above ground. There were lots of ruins that could be restored. If we are going to continue with weapon durability, then we should expand on that system. Make it so Blacksmiths can repair weapons for a fee and some materials, as well as upgrading weapons with enchantments, such as greater attack power. These enchantments wouldn't be unlocked at the start, but instead by exploring the underground. A grindstone, a better anvil, furnace. The fee would be much more then the repair and would use diamonds at the top level. A VERY special and rare Master Ore would make any weapon you find unbreakable, but would reduce it's power and the process requires a fully upgraded Blacksmith, so it is a later game thing.
Based Julesfag. We need more of her
MAKE LINK A PARAGON OF COURAGE (GREEN) AND NOT WISDOM (BLUE) THE CHAMPION TUNIC ISN'T GREAT TBQH
>Guardians shortcircuit and become hyperaggressive, but also take on each other and other enemies
>A clever player can use this to go into areas early while they're all in-fighting
>You can get a proper hero tunic
>After clearing 120 shrines and 95% of the content of the game is gone
>Aonuma said that the sequel is emphasizing story
Yeah, that could mean a lot of things. More linear wouldn't be bad, as long as most of the world is still accessible. If the dungeons have to be tackled in a certain order, that would be fine. In a way, that's back to Zelda 1. There was no where you couldn't go in the world, but until you had certain items, some dungeons couldn't be entered, like the Raft. Or while a dungeon could be entered, it couldn't be completed without an item, like the Ladder.
So let us find the dungeons, maybe get into them and figure out that we need a new item or power up to proceed. Zelda unlocks stuff for our new arm thing and this helps with our progression.
I would love to get some heavy fuckers besides lynels.
>Darknuts
>OoT Stalfos
>Dark Link with a sheika slate
>it also shrunk in the wash
I was so mad and on top of that is not even a cool looking one but a discount LoZ1 one.
Sauce?
the only KANTO characters i can think of are the koroks since they didn't even change their designs
I
CAN'T WAIT
TO BOMB
SOME
DODONGOS
artist is setz
Never noticed the yarmulke before
Wasn’t the wind fish in skyward sword?
there was a little people village in some concept art. I don't know why they didn't run with it the first time
Yes, Darknuts, Iron Knuckles. It's time to bring back the old staples. More weapons for Link and more variety. Double Axe should have come from Knuckles.
Dead
Not him specifically, but it was a reference to him.
The minish, they dropped it because they were going to bring back the ability for Link to shrink, as a rune for the Slate, but it would have made the rest of the game awkward. I can imagine them bringing it back.
Ganondorf has been a villain like three times.
Feels weird. Ganondorf is mentioned more times then he has actually been fightable. Most notably in FSA, where you are going around and seeing the effect of everything he did, but once you finally catch up to him, he has already transformed into Ganon.
who's the second dude
Oshus, from Phantom Hourglass.
>levias is dead
who is this cutie
also dungeons and more eldritch creatures, pretty please
Are you pretending to be retarded
But the wind fish was real faggot. Did none of you actually play Link's Awakening? Koholint island is not real. It is the creation of the Wind Fish's dream. Wind Fish is real, you see it flying in the credits. God I hate faggot zoomers.
god you are a giant fucking faggot. please die.
What prompted this?
absolute bullshit without source. fuck off.
would like to know more on the origin pilots of the divine beasts. they hardly look like zora/goron/rito/gerudo in the mural. not even that sheikah like either. very odd.
No more memories.
not realizing koga will make a mole man cult in botw2 and steal the orb you sent in the hole via dlc trial.
absolute faggot.
flying whales are a fantasy thing over there, user.
Iron Knuckles/Darknuts
posted wrong, might to reply to the scardy cat faggot who can't handle dragonbros. sorry.
After playing FFXV, and RDR2 comments about their quality aside, I really want BotW to have a fleshed out fishing minigame
It's ok bro. Which one's your favorite? Gotta go with Farosh, personally.
I think robot-arm Link if my number one hope for this game
But I could really fuck with more swimming interactions
There are big monsters in the first game, let me fight a Kraken
what would they even look like with a zelda artstyle?
This
what's your favorite ability? mine is ravioli's gale, because it allows me to skip the boring as fuck climbing sections.
Link putting his penis into Zelda's butthole while Zelda's pupils turn into hearts.
agreed heavily
during the trailer you can here the wierd backwards twili language. there's also that teal blue thats used in the twilight realm that can also bee seen in the trailer, but that could be something completely different
The answer is always Wakamoto.
The one in the desert is the Wind Fish, hence the WING bones.
The one in the Mountain could be Jabu Jabu because fuck the Ocean King his game sucked
The age of the gaden game is long gone. Every game has to be about Zelda and a demon lord no exceptions besides silly toon rinku stuff.
BRAVO NINTENDO BRAVO
Instead of 150 shrines where only like15 are any fun give me 9 classic Zelda Dungeons somewhere in the same map and they are hidden as hell and I can complete them in any order I want.
I want to play as Zelda, I want to hear Link actually talk and sound good unlike how Corrin is in Fates (faggot piece of shit) and, most importantly....
GANONDORF IN HIS PRIME
>pic unrelated
