I would swap out the parry for some kind of magic attack, especially if you're going to have Solaire as an alt skin but not have lightning spear be available for use? Give the skins different kinds of magic attack from all the magic schools, like the default CU skin gets a chaos fireball, Solaire gets a sunlight spear, Soul of Cinder gets Soul Stream or CHSM. Also the grab should be Dark Hand, which rewards you with either souls or humanity (thus tying into the counter mechanic).

Also the spawning animation should be him getting up from a summon sign. Yellow used exclusively for Solaire.

I originally had lightning spear as a move for him, but eventually just scrapped it for two hand wielding, as I wanted to go in depth on the sword fighting, but didn’t have enough space to fully realize it without sacrificing magic moves.

We have enough sword fighters and magic use is an inseparable part of the Dark Souls experience. That goes doubly if you're going to let players cosplay as Solaire, who is famous for chucking lightning, or the Soul of Cinder, who has an iconic kamehameha move. Dual wielding is a good idea but I think that parrying needs to go. If anything, there should be some kind of choice between using the shield to parry or using it to block, since that's usually how actual players approach shields, but having free access to both at the same time seems kind of OP.

I'd honestly rather have Doomguy or Master Chief. With the amount and variety of weapons they can use they'd be a lot of fun. also with Master Chief the Arbiter can be an alt skin.

I play as male Corrin just to shut down the people who say the only Corrin mains are waifu footfags. I play as Corrin because Conquest has the best gameplay in the series and I enjoy it quite a lot.
