You're gonna tell me right fucking now if this game is worth a god damn playthrough. Is it good? Is it filled with souless filler missions and repetitive SHIT like the previous 3 games. Well tell me!!!

i didnt play it
How the unironic FUCK did Ubisoft get away with that ending?????
>worth
>good
Subjective. You acting like a Redditor doesn't say anything about your personal interests compared to what the game has.
Just watch the cutscenes on youtube. Its kino.
u progress game by doing standard rebellion shit that fills a completion bar so you can liberate an area which is mindboggingly boring, but some of the missions are cool and i liked the ending. worth playing if ur interested and can get it on the cheap
Good thing you said that instead of describing literally any part of the game at all.
Very useful comment, you are very smart
John Sneed did nothing wrong! Hang godless ATF niggers from street lights!
Half of it is cool albeit scripted campaign stuff
The other half is open-world mindless filler, although I guess the sandbox is fun to mess with sometimes?
You have to play both parts to progress
I liked it, get it when it's cheap.
You're on the internet, kid, you can do this on your own.
I hate Ubisoft but Far Cry 3 and 5 are awesome games. Great setting, OST, characters, and a surprising amount of worthwhile content. Ending and DLCs are shit, though, and don't even bother with New Dawn, it's hot garbage.
>not knowing how to look up reviews or gameplay videos on youtube
>Is it filled with souless filler missions and repetitive SHIT like the previous 3 games
Yes.
Like all Ubishit games its fun while what you're doing is new and eventually you start doing the exact same shit over and over again but the story and characters aren't enough to carry it like Witcher 3 or RDR2
It’s even more soulless and repetitve than the other ones. The series peaked at 3 and just went down hill since
There is literally nothing wrong with OP asking for opinions on a game on 4channel.
It's worth it for the story imo
I've completed the main game (Haven't done DLCs) and if im honest i'd say its not worth getting
The bad guy is interesting, but has very little screen time. The lesser bad guys are boring, they have their moments (Jacob is into mind-control which is interesting) but on the whole they're just cliched and forgettable.
What I really hate is how literally nothing you do matters in any way what so ever. One of the regions you do every mission, completely smash every cult related thing, etc, etc then the region boss just shows up in your main town with all your allies kidnapped invalidating everything you just spent the last 8 hours doing.
They had a good starting idea but managed to fuck up almost everything after that.
autism
He just wants people yo tell him what to do. Why not research it and make up his own mind
Good:
>the nature in it looks absolutely beautiful
>villain characters are pretty cool, although at times the game feels like it is trying too hard with them
>no mandatory towershit this time
>god-tier OST
>smooth shooting gameplay
Bad:
>weirdly small amount of guns
>out of the 3 main regions of the game, it seems like most work was put in the one people are pointed to first, the last 2 are more boring
>ultimately, the mission structure stays very samey, so you’re probably going to get somewhat tired of it
>some of the cult stuff regarding special enemies is almost too stupid, feels kind of distracting at times if you try to take the game seriously at all
Personally, I had really good time with the first region I played (John), second one was only OK (Faith), and third (Jacob) was kinda chore. Part of it obviously comes from the fact that I already had played the game for something like 15-20 hours when I got to the last region, but it also felt that the last region had lazier design that the earlier ones. It kinda makes sense, considering how hard they try to point everyone to John’s area in the beginning, the devs themselves must have realized that they had put most of the work there (could also have been done deliberately, who knows).
He isn't asking for people to tell him what to do, he's soliciting opinions on people's experiences with the game. He's not literally asking people "Do you think I personally will enjoy this game?"
He's asking people for their opinions and experiences and then internally comparing what they describe with what he thinks he would enjoy.
It's literally the exact same process as the "research" you're suggesting: look at external data and use it to make a decision.
>Why not research it
Like asking for other people’s opinion like this thread? Fucking retard
The music is great.
Because of this, if I ever were in charge of designing a game like this, I would absolutely put in some kind of ”supply line” system in to make it so that stuff you do changes at least *something* in what enemies do. It’s not like it would need to be something super deep, but it could be something like this:
>the enemy has multiple training areas or equipment storage/production facilities
>if you go and sabotage the training of X, then the enemy ends up relying more on Y’s that are trained in different places etc.
Because it would obviously be too easy if the game only got easier over the time when you do stuff, the enemy would need to have some kind of counteractions that depend on your actions. You go and sabotage John’s plane facilities, it makes so that Jacob sends his elite ground troopers to compensate the loss off the planes etc.
He literally says "is it good". Everyones tastes are different. He might not like what others do. So why not look up gameplay footage and reviews to see more infor on the game instead of wanting someone to say "yeah it is good. Buy it"
Do you have autism or something? Genuine question.
He's not asking people "Do you think I personally will enjoy this game?"
He's asking people for their opinions and experiences and then internally comparing what they describe with what he thinks he would enjoy.
What's the difference between asking people's opinions on a game and reading a review?
I bought it last week. The setting is comfy, weapons have a good feeling, and melee is fun
it was only ever fun when i would play it with my friends while disregarding the story completely
