chamber of secrets is comfier
looks pretty dull
This. Also you can't walk and cast at the same time in the first one which always pisses me off. That said, I do also still find it comfy.
Did you ever play it? You should try it sometime.
They're both peak comfy honestly. I was never able to pick between the two, but CoS was a bit more polished.
This and chamber of secrets on ps1 was my childhood.
>Jump to ledge
>HEH AHH
Hey I had these too as a kid, really comfy. Although I was always scared by the walking knight armor enemies
FLIIIIPENDO
NEEEEAR WINDOW
I usually play them in the winter time when it's really cold outside. Turn the heat on, turn off all the lights, get a blanket on me, and play.
Why the fuck haven’t they made an open world HP game yet? I want to explore Hogwarts, play quidditch and duel mudbloods.
WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA
>sound of spell gets stuck until you drop object
Sounds very comfy indeed. I tried getting back to those games and playing them for nostalgia but I just can’t do it. They aged and I just can’t get over the controls and blocky graphics/animations.
Rented this back then. It was weird as fuck. I don't remember that much but I don't think it even bothered following the plot of the movie.
The Harry Potter games on the PS1 were peak comfy/soul.
if only the gba version worked on emulator
had this as a child shit game didnt understand it was just blatantly confused for 99% of it if you played this and loved it your childhood gaming was shit prove me wrong
>that fucking bank level
I don't think I've ever found a duller game to play
It doesn't work? Which emulator are you using? I remember playing this game on VBA back in 2006 or something.
no describable story
telle tubies level quests
strange puzzles that are hard because the game is built badly
bad animation
combat is leddit tier
what is it you like about this /v?
yeah I'm using vba too, but whenever I try to push these barrels with flipendo the barrel disappears, and it's only if I push it towards the switch

Try using the mGBA. Some people prefer higan, but I don't use anything that was made by furries.
I love how each version of Chamber is a different game.
can I transfer saves from vba to mgba
Chamber of Secrets was the best. Being able to fly the nimbus freely around the grounds was the coolest shit.
>Spam the fuck out of expelliarmus
>Prefects can't do shit
Get fucked
not wanting to play through it again
>same
also i do hope you enjoy it but you should probably just read the book or watch the film
SCOURGIFY!
actually I am playing through it again, just beat the gc version and wanted to see if the gba version holds up
They’re working on a H-piddy RPG currenty.
>Dimly lit hallways
>nothing but cold stone
>Probably zero insulation
How the fuck is this comfy?
>can I transfer saves from vba to mgba
Yes: github.com
It's warmed by magic.
It's nostalgia fuel. If you didn't grow up with these you won't care.
Nice. I wish I could do this but I don’t have them anymore I guess I could emulate them.
that worked, thanks user
PSO is also pretty comfy if we're talking early 2000's
underrated comfy reporting in
Why would anybody try a game from the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of (((Spielberg))) directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!" The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
Glad to hear it, brother.
kek, haven't seen this in a long time.
