It’s certainly the most interesting and unique games I’ve played in a long time. The pacing is fucked which kind of knocks it down a point of two. 8-9/10 game definitely not the best game of all time, not even the best of the gen, that would be Red Dead Redemption 2.

I didn't really like automata. It felt very dumbed down. It's got some nice plot elements and I liked the story, but the gameplay was a bit of a chore to work through. The original wasn't great either but I just mean, versus other ARPGs like resonance of fate it felt pretty meh. I only spent $20 though, at least.

I wouldn't say it's my personal favorite, but it is in the top 3 best games i've ever played.
The music is so good I may even buy the soundtrack someday. The only game with better music is FFX in my opinion.
