Mobile gaming sucks. I had games on floppy disc more interesting than half the junk out there, and with download speeds of 4 floppy discs a second... where did it all go wrong!?
There was no point there, there is no other logic that could be applied to the file size statement Stop being retarded
Easton Jones
Too much spaghetti coding, leading to poorly optimised games!
Brody Cox
No.

I think he understood your point perfectly, it's just that your point is weak and doesn't take very important aspects of each game in to account.
A touch screen game has to function differently from a PC game, which has a full keyboard as input. A game for a 1080p display much function differently than a game for a 240p display.
Try Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead and see what you think. Or just pick up Text Fiction and play Text Adventures for a while.
Jayden Gomez
Nigga you said "looking for 'good' mobile games: not "looking for 'good' mobile games that I can play every day until I'm 6 feet under because of how long they last"
Grayson Nguyen
And the correlation to CONTENT?
Joseph Martinez
What's a floppy disc?

I just felt a sharp cut in my chest

Just mate, look at the source engine. Look how it can be manipulated, mods can be made for it, but you need the WHOLE engine to use it, even if your not able to utilise the whole engine. Poorly optimised You may think that your super computer with 5 graphics cards is the best, BUT if your not utilising them, then they'll only slow you down. (Addional "bus" speed & logic gates)

Most people's problems with mobile games are the moment to moment experience, they tend not to stick around for the game's entire length. Galaxy on Fire is suggested a lot (As it should), but I can guarantee that very few people who even recommend it have actually finished everything in it.
People bounce off mobile games way easier than they do for other games, and unfortunately, developers have decided to design around this, thus games-as-a-service type stuff is dominant.
t. Has beaten multiple Kemco RPGs and a Racing game on mobile.
Brody Sanchez
Wow you sound so enlightened. When are you going to rock the industry's to its core with these revolutionary and totally achievable ideas?
Austin Reed
You could keep things in the save button?
Carson Thompson
Remeber when smart phones were called Palmtop computers? You know like, desk top, laptop, palmtop... yeah the name never caught on.
Ryder Diaz
Do you want mobile only games? There are plenty of ports to iOS and such that are only slightly worse than the original versions, and pretty good on their own terms
Jonathan Morgan
Not that guy but little hostile, aren't we?
Austin Moore
I wish people who know absolutely fucking nothing about software development would stop trying to make posts like this
Carson Foster
I don't even know if this is a troll, You know what VCRs and cassette tapes are... right?
Jaxson Rodriguez
Are you gonna provide any counter points to that guy or are you just going to keep throwing insults that don't resolve anything?
Juan Robinson
Don't get me started on dual or quad core hyper threaded processes.
Logan Rodriguez
I dunno, mang. Someone else in this thread pointed out that referencing modern libraries greatly increases the filesize of programs compared to old programs referencing older libraries. This whole thread is a mess.
Carter Wright
Shitpost in, shitpost out.
Noah Stewart
Any games, i like playing front mission 3 on my PS1 emulator, must be playable on mobile
Lol, do you code or use development tools. Of course you use tools, because like old cars which don't need a computer to work, the coding has become too complex to manualy create game. Need more games like dwarf fortress... FOR MOBILE
