All of these, plus Minecraft recently celebrated it's 10th year anniversary, which made people nostalgic for the game

1.14 is a interesting new update and even before it came out a lot of people were slowly more and more talking about it. A lot of youtubers that played it returned like SkyDoesMinecraft, CaptainSparklez also started making pretty interesting videos, AntVenom, and GOD himself SethBling also came back and fucking PewDiePie started playing and loves it. It's not a conspiracy you schizo.

The recent updates have added some cool stuff and a lot of the autism in the fanbase has died down so people don't feel so afraid to associate with the game anymore.
