ITT genuinely sympathetic villains
Dhaos did nothing wrong.
Literally nothing wrong.
Name a better villain than Emet-Selch.
I'll wait.
He just wanted his home back.
The Lich King.
He said villains, user.
I was with him until he wanted to sacrifice others to bring back his friends. His other goals were redeemable but that wasn't.
Then allow me to correct myself
Griffith
>teehee i posted it again
>teehee i was dismissive again, that'll show them
ok retard
Sacrificing souls to bring back the most powerful of the original men, who would then create life using their own replenishable aether to sacrifice in exchange for the lost souls.
It comes out to a total positive in the end.
>A rapist manchild with anger issues is totally based because I want to fuck him, never mind the fact he effectively murdered half the world by proxy to get what he wanted
Griffith is the root cause of the world's present suffering. Getting to play the White Knight doesn't change that.
teehee I'm a different person you retard
>it’s edgy white kids root for the villains
Grow up
...
>Dumbfounded nigger is incapable of seeing any viewpoint but his own
Reroll to another race ASAP
Neither of those are Mihaly
He's genuinely tragic. His goal is noble, but his method of achieving said goal (and being tempered by Zodiark) made him completely incompatible with the heroes.
He also never told you anything but the truth.
>make him interesting
>plot shoe horns him into your travels
>because plot
>guuhhh duh it was me all along go figure right honk honk
>explain everything about him in a short amount of time
>death flag
>write him off
>this is considered good and best of all time
Stormblood was better story telling. this was straight up a dragon quest adventure after entering a warp.
for me, it's Kessler
Mihaly killed Brownie, therefore he can get fucked
I also would have liked more time with him, user
trish a shit and kole should have dumped the bitch before the game even started.
agreed
ok retard
I was hoping for an actual twist where you join him instead of just some shitty anime sequence where he turns into space alien #1234124 and you beat him up which coincidentally cures your light aids
Shadowbringers was good but it was massively wasted potential and they literally went the most vanilla route possible, I don't understand people jerking themselves off over it, it's so meh
based and kantpilled
Mostly the Scions actually doing something and getting away from Stormblood, which was overwhelmingly tepid. All the lorepills and exploring a new world were nice too, rather than more EMPIRE IS DOING A BAD, GO STOP THEM.
Aren't there clones of him in the source/your world since he is super old from the whole storm blood story line? I dont get it, was he a memory too or real?
>Skipping cutscenes
Those clones are host bodies. Ascians are disembodied spirits who take hosts, hence the reason for them being so hard to kill.
I guess, the devs just don't wanna try anything risky it feels like, FF14 is basically the most by the numbers MMO I could imagine, and Shadowbringers didn't do anything to change that perception
>cutscene skipper
all these lore are already detailed to you since late ARR, they only brought them back to cook up with some spice for you skipper to pay attention. The only "pill woking" lore about it is the way the First perceive the elemental different than of the source.
They never said anything about Zodiark and Hydaelyn being primals, nothing about Astral and Umbral forces actually being their own elements, and had nothing about the original cities or who the Ascians were.
In ARR Ascians were just moustache twirling fucklords who existed to make beastmen summon primals.
Don't flex if you're not even going to provide examples, fucking moron. You're anonymous even, so the fuck are you trying to accomplish?
Doesn't matter. They're dead, the sacrifices aren't. They made their choice to be sacrificed. The others didn't.
Difference is the Amaurotines volunteered to be sacrificed to preserve the world, fractured souls are selfish by nature and would sooner scramble for an alternative while the world fell apart around their ears.
What game?
Fractured souls are also volunteering to sacrifice themselves to save their world by fighting those who would destroy it.
The Enclave did nothing wrong.
