He wasn't helping them for the gang, he did it because Charles asked him to when he's found out he's dying and regrets the life he led. Even then it's optional, you can refuse to help. He does seem to sympathise with them regardless but remember Hosea also felt pretty bad for them, and Hosea essentially raised him alongside Dutch.

That girl's absolutely not smoking hot in that picture she looks like a gremlin caked in a pound of makeup and at a very specific angle and pose to make her look most presentable.
This is the same shit with a lot of these facescanned models, like Stefanie Joosten as Quiet for example, she's not that attractive and when you put her in the game and give players the ability to see her from any angle, not just cherrypicked ones for photos, obviously she's not going to look as good.
Fucking retards I swear, the sad thing is there are millions of legitimately pretty girls that could be used for this shit, but devs always use these girls that only look good from one specific angle so they look like shit in the finished product.
