Mgs3 pachinko was announced in May 2016, in very late development. Less than 6 month after Kojima departure. And with all the details,no way the CGI videos were made in 6 month.
This mean one thing that a lot of people don't realize.

Kojima probably was the one who gave the start for the pachinko. He was still here when it began development. And contrary to all the other pachinkos, this one was partially made with the vidya team (with the pachinko one), this mean some of his team worked on it. He also strangely never answered anything about the pachinko. (then again, he would probably lie. In 2016 he said zombies had nothing to do with metal gear, yet he had pseudo zombies in 4 and 5 + was the one who proposed the nanomachines zombie idea in the first place back in 2013, for a mgr2 but platinum didn't wanted that for a sequel because mgrr wasn't made by Kojima.)

You can actually play it at any Round 1 location, they even have a save feature if you're willing to buy a $5-$10 e-amusement card the price varies depending on where you live.

I'm not sure if they sell the e-amusement cards but they're pretty cheap to buy online.
The game has song unlocks to stats and bunch of cool features and the ability to skip tutorial if you have your own save card
