Bad post
Muh 4k resolution on a 20 inch tv
Smaller screen is ironically better for 4K though. Details just blend together in your vision when you're sitting on the couch at a distance. And then you can't really sit close to a huge screen since the field of view is a problem. Optimally, small screen, and sit close.. aka PC monitor.
Literally.
4k is a meme you donut
>he fell for the 4k meme
Higher refresh rate is where is at and you slow mfs are shit
this tbqh. 1440p 32" at 144hz makes my pp > PP
Where were you when AMD absolutely destroyed Intel?
This.
1440p and 144hz bros ww@
>"I have no intention of ever deepfaking the petite redhead girl in the office onto blacked porn" the post
>tfw just bought a 2600 with how cheap they got now that 3600 released
I only play in 1080p
Should I get a 1660 Ti to go with it?
I have no idea what this means, but I'm just gonna throw it in my screencap folder
heres a (you) or upboat or whatever faggot
>not buying AMD now that they are dominating everything except the highest end of GPUs
>he hasnt been using a 4.5ghz cpu for the past decade
literally not my fault you buy AMD products for gaming.
my i7 2600k @ 4.6ghz doesn't bottleneck my 1060
>$200 65w beats $400 140w
>ww@
probably the same place where all the poorfags reside
>AMD
>GPU
never ever
>only want to upgrade GPU
>have to upgrade CPU because of bottleneck
>have to upgrade motherboard because of socket
>have to PSU because of new power requirements
it's all a fucking ponzi scheme
Nigger I use an i5 4790k and the shit could barely support my 970, let alone my 2060
Recc me a goood monitor handsome 1440 bro
>DXMD
>GTAV
>Far Cry
>having them be on par when every other benchmark shows that is absolutely not the case
>those typos
>those no source or settings
When you post dumb made up shill charts like this, it only hurts your case, especially when the 3600 is a genuinely fantastic CPU. You don't beat intel by stooping to their level.
Not even remotely. A 3600 and a 9900K perform the same in games because the GPU is still going to be the bottleneck.
Upgradeability doesn't mean "once in a decade", although with Intel you will be upgrading sockets every few years either way
>*isn't actually true at all and people are only looking to justify buying a new processor because of some new benchmarks*
can you guys stop trying to get me to upgrade my PC?
Sure I have to knock some settings down but I can still keep 60fps on every console port. Talk to me when next gen comes out, aight?
well the socket is exactly what's getting me into trouble.
i have, can't wait to drop my 4c4t haswell chip now that AMD has caught up in IPC. Intel can get fucked with their security vulnerabilities and 40 chipsets per socket.
Dipshit, you're gonna need a new CPU if you upgrade a GPU.
makes your lower case pp greater than the upper case PP?
>Only want to upgrade CPU after 8 years
>Have to upgrade mobo
>Have to upgrade RAM even though DDR4 is a meme for gaming
>Have to buy new cooler
HAHA
this sucks man
Why did the 2600k have to be so good bros
CPU can survive a good three GPU upgrades. people who upgrade their CPUs as much as their GPUs are wasting their money.
>Have to upgrade RAM even though DDR4 is a meme for gaming
???
The difference between just DDR4 frequencies can result in well over 20fps more in gaming.
what are you talking about incel
ryzen 1000, 2000 and 3000 all support the same socket and motherboards
sure if you upgrade GPU every time a new gen comes out
>haha mom look i used a meme word!
Yep used my i5 2400 till last year.
pp -> PP
is your autismo pleased?
everything worthwhile upgrading to is TR4 now faggot
congratulations.
if you are not CPU bound you likely gained 1 whole frame by upgrading.
r8 bottleneck build
>2500K to 3600X
Can't wait to actually play games at 60fps again.
have sex
Some games are more memory-sensitive than others, I'll give you that. But in the majority case RAM Speed only seems to heavily affect minimum framerates, and that's only really when you look at DDR4-2133 compared to DDR3, 2666, 3200 and 3600 do show improvement compared to 2133 but it's negligible at best in most games.
I'm sure I will notice the difference once I finally upgrade but until then let me enjoy my sour grapes and boomer CPU
Don't bother upgrading unless you have a shitty CPU that's old. Even if it was a good CPU that's old, you're wasting your money. Rarely do games even eat that much CPU. Only ones I can think of are Battlefield 1 and 5 in 64 player matches, and games with a lot of simulation going on, typically modern management games. And player count rarely effects CPU, all the BR games with 100 players use like 40% of an i5 from two gens ago, only in Battlefield for some reason does it rape CPU.
Minimums are just as important as average.
whats with your graphics bro
but muh RTX
wow trying again, are we?
Since when? Relevant to my interests because I'm still running a 2500k and AFAIK the only things where the CPU is bottlenecking is stuff like Hearts of Iron 4 during the late-game when there are a million units out.
Still probably won't upgrade for a while. Just don't see any reason to. Especially since it's always a pain in the ass replacing a CPU when you gotta get a new mobo and potentially a new PSU depending on wattage and such.
always was since I only play grand strategy
I would take 1080p@144fps over your 4k meme any day
Literally nothing wrong with AMD
incel inside: the post
My HD7950 still does very good job at 1080p considering it's age, but my i5 3470 is struggling.
Clearly you don't play anything remotely demanding or modern so yeah no reason to upgrade.
Having a CPU-heavy machine probably means you play competitive multiplayer games, while having a GPU-heavy machine probably means you play casual singleplayer AAA games with intensive graphics.
>phenom 2 with an rx 580
holy shit user
r8 my potato
Blame Denuvo for that one.
piratechads win again
