It depends on what it's on. On a grand majority of things, black looks clean longer so a small speck of dust doesn't pop out more.
On cars though, always white. Black will make it obvious as fuck if a single particle in the atmosphere landed on your car

black and white are neutral colors, literally everything looks great with black or white, not everything looks good with red, green, blue, etc

White on vehicles is on par how shit it is to keep up with compared to black. Silver/greys always the best to hide dirt and blemishes.

White is used on work vehicles because its the cheapest paint. No one fucks their work vehicle so heating factor of the paint isn't relevant.
