I got VAC banned and now I can't play CSGO even though I have told the support team multiple times that it was my brother ):

mods from some tf2 community servers who tried using mutes as a way to get people to join their forum. they would randomly mute players they recognized as being regulars and then direct them to make an account to appeal it. Also tf2 community servers with unskippable timed pop-up video advertisements in their MOTD.

I avoid 'social games' because I am not a masochistic moron.

I was permanently banned in Overwatch for an xdotool mouse macro that selected a character in the menu.

They did not repeal the ban, and wouldn't tell me why I was banned.

I didn't even consider that's why I was banned, because it didn't even occur to me that it was a bannable offense.

I was emptying a bucket near spawn to pick up lava from the spawn protected lava moat that was infinite. I was 7 blocks away instead of 8, so the water flowed into the moat and made a mess of obsidian.

I instantly typed into chat "uhh hey is there an admin online?" and got silence. Since this was kind of minor, i TP'd back to my house and continued to do what i was doing. about 30 minutes later i'm teleported to spawn to answer for my crimes.

Basically, because I was a such proficient PVP player and was driving players away from our pvp server, my punishment was to manually mine out every block of obsidian with a diamond pickaxe, and this was done in view of basically the entire server population who teleported home to watch. The admin took the 30 minutes to gather screenshots to post in our forums in defense of his actions, we had other servers and he was just in charge of minecraft.

Because spawn was protected, the admin had to manually edit my permissions, watch me conduct manual labor for 5 minutes, and then reset the permissions

I was given an option to take a 24 hour ban for griefing or to fix the damage myself.

I took the ban, fuck you Ctark
