The joycons were a mistake, the waggle gimmick being used to try and recreate the success of the Wii. This caused Nintendo to remove the Dpad, an essential part of any Nintendo controller or handheld all in an effort to make it comfortable for 2 players to play on a small 7 inch tablet.

The screen is also a failure. 35% bezel. Modern smartphones gave bezeless screens these days. No excuse.

I don't see why current Switch owners would be upset over this. Switch Lite isn't an upgrade meant to replace your current Switch like the DS Lite. This is for people who wanted a smaller, more portable console, as well as children. I just want them to make an official Joycon with a dpad now.

The switch lite is bulkier for its size than the og switch so it's probably meant for dumb hands like children. Again, it mirrors the 2DS situation.
Also, I didn't count the Game and Watch ones because you only get one game per unit. Barely comparable.

As a current Switch owner, this really doesn't make me feel bad at all. The new console looks nice visually but overall it's a downgraded system.

The AAA ports generally run fine enough because they use some AAs that make the low resolution look fine.
Now Xeno 2, Xeno 2 is a bizarre case.
The game runs at a resolution that makes the Wolf2 port look like HD, and throws a SHARPEN filter on the picture that makes every saw and shimmer much more visible than the usual.

Every Switch owner I know has had to buy replacement joycons after a year when the sticks start drifting. If they haven't improved the sticks, making them non-detachable is a really bad idea.
