That's why I never go baseball, just avoid it until you get the items to make it easier.

Look for a walkthrough, the balls are not random.

Is this video game good?

I like the new Hamura's model compared to the original one.
Yes, accessible for western newcomers too.

yeah he looks more menacing

I just like how he is a little more "western" compared to the original.
Here's the short comparison.

barely a difference

It's actually pretty slow, you're lucky if you can reach across two squares if you react quickly enough.

I was on the old Hamura train before playing it but the newer one definitely fits his character more. The newer model also feels a bit more smarmy but the older one feels much more conniving.

no, pretty big difference actually.

I'm pretty blind

The new model seems to have a somewhat European influence in it compared to the old one which looked like exclusively japanish.

I don't see it.

Are you serious ?

How did they get away with it?

Meow...

Is that meat from vinesauce ?

Does anyone remember if you could hit Mr. Try and Hit Me with Heat Actions before? Because you can just R1 him to a car, climb on the car, and hit him here no problem instead of pushing him to a corner and flailing around hoping to hit him.

Spending most of my EXP on special upgrades. In the middle of chapter 3 and the fighting is getting a lot harder, think i better start spending exp on combat stuff

Daily reminder that Vinny Vinesauce is going to stream this game in a near future.

Health and damage are basically mandatory even early on, especially on Hard. If you're on Legend the health upgrades are even more important. Honda for example cleans 70% of my health from full if he grabs me on Legend and on Hard he was doing like 50%. The final chapters also felt balanced around you having the third tier in all stats. Combo speed is good but it's not as important as it was in 6 or K2 in my opinion, health and damage are way more important in this one but don't ignore combo speed.

I've been in kamurocho so fucking much i'm playing this game without the mini map turned on and I think I only had to check the main map once when going someplace. Fucking know this city better than the one I live in

Literally who?

Just leapfrog and hit him. Easy

Didn't even think of that. I just thought to try something off of the car and noticed the EX Action prompt which made it funnier because Yagami takes like a year to hop onto him and all the comments from him are like "How did you learn to hit so fast" which makes it even funnier.

Baseball is fucking easy

>drink some booze
>press triangle
easy

oh my

that's a good thing

>2* difficulty fights in the VR Salon have battles that take place in the Underground Parking Lot.
>But you can't actually go into it normally despite them taking the effort to HD them.
I don't get it. Also, screw the dual thumbstick thumb-turn bypasses.

>2* battle in VR salon
>Railgun
why arent those 1*?

Railgun tends to miss a lot of its shots, they have enemies that rush you sometimes, and it sometimes only fires once despite you mashing triangle. Still doesn't really justify a 2* though, at least the sword one makes sense because of the pistol user that can two-shot you and the the kali stick makes sense because of the damage + enemy damage.

I don't mash it, i just hold it and it does 5 shots i think, it barely ever misses, mashing it indeed messes up shots, but holding it down is consistent

cute

yeah fuck the thumb things being actually challenging lmao

Very cute, though that smile isn't convincing. Like she's uncomfortable being in that role.

i swear the a.i cheats during the drone races

Considering making a mistake means losing 30 seconds, the margin for error is pretty small, and failing resets you back to the start of the board, yeah.

isn't that Stefanie "Quiet" Joosten's friend ?

So what was the new thing we were supposed to get today ?

See It was just an announcement for the girl that won the audition.

What time do we get information? What will they reveal? Will they tell us what cities we'll visit in Ichiban's game?

Oh god damnit nobody cares, trailer when

oh yeah it is
didn't catch that

*BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP*

But when's the release? the games are always set in december so is it this year?

It's already out in the West for two weeks or so.

no for the Yakuza game
no one cares about Judgment, it's a throwaway spinoff with no new cities, literally Yakuza 4 tier

Probably this year, Judge Eyes was last year and I doubt they count the remasters so they've technically had nothing for this year. TGS is for sure when we're going to see something since they have nothing else announced.

Teach Koi-Koi to me. I can't understand this shit. I have to make a hand but only way I can get a card from table is if I use a paired card. But why do sometimes me or opponent draw multiple card from piles and shit.
Why do my recordings have black borders usually when during gameplay there is nothing like that on my TV.
Also is there cabaret management in this game or was the chapter 7 blueballing me.
I also hate Keihin Gang mechanic. Would've been better if they just wandered around. Honda wandering around like Shakedown and Kenta coming out of manholes majima like but completely avoidable instead of just littering entire map with enemies around every corner.

>Teach Koi-Koi to me
Match the backgrounds. The really fancy looking ones (Except for the one purple starry flower with a yellow bottom) are the highest tier cards, then come the animals, then the poems, and then just the basic ones. There's special hands you can make, the easiest is to grab the red moon and mix it with the cherry blossom card or the red rose card as this gets you Moon Viewing. The bird and the demon are also pretty good to get, otherwise just aim for any fancy looking card first.
Do note the NPC will try to block your cards with cards of their own. For example if you place a hill it'll think you're trying to get the red moon (Because it's a hill card) and therefore grab your hill card so you can't get one.
>But why do sometimes me or opponent draw multiple card from piles and shit.
You get one placed card + one drawn card. If the drawn card matches a card on the table you get the drawn card + the table card it matched. Cards on the table are for both players when it comes to the deck.
Sometimes the match will also start with four of the same type of card on the table which is why those ones pair together, and whoever gets the last one can take all of the ones in that pile.

Seasons is a rule where if you get four of the same type of card as the one listed on the right you get the "Seasons" bonus. You may want to turn this off because you might not be thinking about it.
There's also a rule that doubles points if you go above 7 points, I love it because it means ridiculously high points but it might be annoying for you.

>Why do my recordings have black borders usually when during gameplay there is nothing like that on my TV.
Your TV is causing the issue, you'd have to change that in its settings (I think it's called overscanning?). Then on your PS4 go to Settings --> Sound and Screen --> Display Area Settings --> Max out the border. Square Enix games do the same thing as does Horizon: Zero Dawn and I think RDR2.

>pinball
>unity logo comes out

i wish other drones could crash and dq

No surprise it's the shittiest pinball I have ever played. Takes a fucking eternity to respond those flippers

That pinball game is an actual game sold on steam. Look up the title

who here /solocrane/

Man, why do they put the "no hit" challenges in these games, when the combat system is ass? Enemy's giant hitboxes magnetize to you from across the screen, and enemies get superarmor out of their ass whenever they want.
It'd be okay if not for those stupid rules or time limits. I hope the ultimate climax battles don't have that bullshit. Straight up combat isn't too too bad.

>still no help message that says holding L2 disengages Heat/EX

>Tigers can one-shot you on Legend.
>Tigers also bounce you off of their bodies every single hit meaning they can go from an attack, to you hitting them the instant they're in their open moment, to you getting smacked and it's completely random if they attack you or not after downtime.
>3 star fights can kill you in like three hits without EX Burst on, especially the samurai.
>2 star fights can range from piss easy weapon fights to "Fight five guys at the same time who all know Chinese Martial Arts and hit you for chunks of health as another guy stabs at you"
>Mortal wounds are permanent unless you run into King Koro-nyan but it also means needing to spend three turns rolling dice that only get you money instead of dice or potentially a skill book if you don't have it yet.
I'm starting to think they only balanced VR Salon for the lowest difficulty. Battle Dungeon in Ishin was kind of this bad with the stunlocking ninjas that threw stun shurikens and regular enemies that one-shot you leading to Pistol being the only usable style, but this is pretty rough at times.
