Don't give in, keep going and get as much abno observation level, EGO gear, researches and Core Suppressions as possible before you Day 1 reset. Those are what really matters. If you can still buy back the gear that got lost with the dead agents, you're good.

I would say on the contrary, careful dogpiling makes it much easier for most ordeals because you will have a ton of dangerous stuff wandering around and keeping one (or two, one to protect low level employees) tightly packed group will be a lot easier to keep track on, specially with green dusk. Red dusk however is special and requires planning.

They all come from the human subconscious but some were picked up from the outside world.

Unlock managerial tips first through working on an abnormality and hope to god they didn't fuck up

The tutorial was filled with so much jargon I don't feel any more enlightened than when I switched on the game.
What exactly is the gameplay loop here.

Adding to this, you can glean hints from the flavor text with some abnormals. Not all of them are important, but text for good work differs from text for bad work.

Generally speaking, try to send agents to work on abnormalities. The general idea is to try to get good results and try to prevent employee deaths. You can end the day right as you have enough energy or you can keep going to grind your agent's powerlevels but it depends on if you have enough RAM or the risk is worth enough to take.

Send your agents to get energy from researching an abnormality to complete a level
Collect their gear from the E-boxes you get so you can defend yourself whenever something escapes or to act as mental/physical armor when dealing with mindfucking abnormalities.
Better tiers = better armor
The fun of the game is seeing how fucked shit can get and having to balance all these retards at one time while discovering what makes something tick. For example there's a teddy bear that will kill your agent if you send the same person to work on it twice

Hods and especially Yesod's suppressions felt weird for a few seconds, but you then realize you know all of the abno's you work on and who will work for which weirdo, which is why winning was well-earned and well-worth it.

The tutorial sucks and all the new names dont help at all, quiphilot specially. Most importantly, send people to work, get blue boxes, use blue boxes produced by each abno to research them or buy equipment and gather enough boxes to pass the day. The boxes you use for research wont reduce that number.

For everything else, play the game and discover stuff. Read the actual manual, not the tutorial. Or ask anons here.

You work on abnos with one of 4 works that % vary depending on your agents stats or the same abnos to collect energy, depending of the amount of positive boxes you get bad,normal o good results, generally you want good results (there is some exceptions to this), each abno have a counter that decrease due bad results or other "quirks" the abno got, that's why is recommended to unlock managerial tips first than everything else if this counter reach 0 they will escape from their room or activate their ability, that's why is recommended to unlock managerial tips first to avoid breachs.

You're running a strange hybrid of a Jail/Apartment/Power plant filled with monsters. You tell your agents to go in to the monster's cell and to take care of them so the monsters are happy and don't escape, since that leads to them killing your dudes.

When you make your monsters happy, you earn points. You have to earn a certain amount of points to beat each day.

Qliphoth counter: When this hits zero, bad stuff happens. Usually the abnormal escaping and killing your dudes.

Instinct/Insight/Attachment/Repression = Food / Environment / Socializing / Violence
Abnormals have different preferences, and you have to guess this based on appearance and behavior. Doing work the abnormal hates often results in either the Qliphoth counter decreasing, your agent dying, or both.

Zayin/Teth/He/Waw/Aleph are risk levels. Zayin is lowest, Aleph is highest.

None of the monsters are totally harmelss, but Zayins are the easiest to handle and most likely to be friendly/ beneficial

Alephs can potentially wipe your entire facility.

NTA but you should deal with the dawns by getting one tick away from the dawn and then sending your weakest dude to a quick abno to activate the ordeal, then just dogpile on the abnos that spawn while dealing with any other contained abnos that need attention. After you deal with the dawn once, you're free to grind your dudes as normal.

This game really is something else, it's been a fucking blast. As a new player, things weren't so bad so far. A few days with a bunch of deaths because of some new abnos, but nothing too crazy. All of a sudden though I'm stuck with these two assholes and holy shit, they've been wiping the floor with my face. Every day requires several tries, since it's very easy for something to go wrong and as soon as The Silent Orchestra escapes there's no way to win anymore without losing half my guys.
They first showed up on day 23 and I managed to reach 25. When exactly is the sweet spot to restart? I wanna get at least all the info on them I can get and hopefully their weapons, but I barely made any progress towards that and their low Qliphot counters make things even more difficult. I'm very close to be able to suppress cores (even if I have no idea what that does exactly). What do you recommend, anons?

If you go to day 26 you lose the opportunity to memrepo them out of the facility.

I've been trying that, but every time he escapes a bunch of other abnos escape as well, and the loss of all the energy is a kick in the nuts. Mountain is not a problem until he escapes, I'm just not properly equipped for dealing with him since I'm still lacking quite a few of the weapons and armors and he always obliterates me.

You forgot the little window that shows up in the Department when you selected the Sephirah Meltdown - you need to hit a certain Qliphoth Level in order to end the day. But it'll end the moment you reach it, even if it's an ordeal and no matter what is out(so if an employee is rendered unconscious or in a state where they'll die if you end the day, be careful!)

You have to also make it to a certain meltdown level on top of having enough energy.

doing apocbirb isn't as relevant unless you're taking the run all the way to the end because of the gifts. Codex is easier to fill out when you're spamming central memrepo. I say get the good dog.

Justice is expensive because it's more or less the most important stat overall throughout the entire game. Movement Speed is SO important and Attack Speed can only benefit you even more, since combat is an eventuality.
If it were cheap it'd be way too easy to plop LOB into Justice and get huge returns off of it.
You'll have to do Violet Midnight eventually, user. If you're not ready for it at some point, when you get it during even more serious shit later it'll be 100x worse.

For me Judgement Bird was the easiest. Provides his own countergear, breaches only when intentionally made to do so because otherwise his conditions are super lenient for Good results.

King of Greed, Dimensional Refraction Variant, Big Bird and Bird of Judgement are all really easy.

This option allows two agents to fight each other to the death in its' containment chamber to up the winner's stats. There's a chance agents won't fight each other, however, and this lowers its' Quipthoth counter. When it escapes, it divides your agents into a red team and a blue team that are hostile to each other, making it difficult to suppress the war god and stop your agents from warring with each other.

The red department suppression bonus was probably overkill at my current point. My ALEPH's are nice: Best Star, NT, ML and SO. Everyone is a V, a few IV stats here and there. Lots of pipes and coffins thanks to Freedom Shooter and Butterfly Bro. No idea what WN or Apoc Birb stuff even does, as I instantly memrep'd doctor once I offered 12 meat nugget people. Although I got slaughtered the only time I hit Violet Midnight, hopefully because I had no idea what i was doing, apart from trying to deathball anything past Noon.

Mephisto, the final boss of an old dungeon crawler called Shining in the Darkness.
Mephisto is the son of Darksol, a demon who fathered him along with the powerful witch Mishaela.
The form in the image appears as his second form in the game, and all 3 parts fight (the middle uses his spiked tail as well as a unique magic called the Demon Blaze, the arm without a sword uses fireballs). By far the weakest final boss in the Shining series, requiring little more than a bit of extra grinding to beat.
Good statting though, I'd grade him about the same in the context of LC. He never would breach because he's always sitting in the chamber at the end.
